merchanting clan.

Does anyone think we should make a merching clan within sythe and spread it to the public. Like all other merching clans do (but don't start at sythe obviously).

I already have a pretty good merch clan name for us to use as a clan.

We would need some people who know what items 2 merch and some people to start buying up.

Tell me if your interested in doing this and pm me if you know any good items 2 start off with.

 

There are more and more of those clans now ... It's getting ridiculous, just go invest by yourself !

 

I have my own personal "merchant clan", only 20 people, but we've got quite a bit of money.

I'd advise you to make a private clan if anything, hold daily inventory checks to make sure no one dumps.

 

This idea fails for various reasons

1.Merchanting Clans are bring targeted by Jagex now...
2.Someone will ruin it
3.Ummm, who will earn profit? Everyone in the clan? I thought the point of merchanting clans was that the leaders earn money while every investor gets stuck with junk.
4.It seems you just want people to help you make a merchanting clan while you do nothing.

 

Nah, wanted to see if it was a good idea or not and see if people would of joined.

 

If it does happend, it'll fail.

 

Actually...Jagex doesn't mind Merchanting Clans, they just don't want people to be forced into buying an item (ex: a clan says: we suggest you by item x or so)

Actually, merch clans can't be good for all the members, since they re supposed to hold the major part of the traded item to increase the demand.

As the offer is low (some random guys may sell, but it doesn't affect much the economy of that items), the demand may be high. So the prices will jump little by little.

When your clan decide to sell your item, okay you'll sell, let's say, for example, 10m balls of wools, and that the offering people are only asking for like 3-4m, only the first one will sell the traded item. The others will just be the "loosers" of that trade.

Furthermore, in any clan, some members are selling before the fixed "date" because they know that the problem of the demand & the offer exists. And in my opinion, they are the big winners of those type of clan.

I did Santa hats for some great benefits with like 20 hats bought, but you may try other stuff like Barrows or God Swords

 

If you're quite rich like 50m+ advertise your cc and say its 50m+ to enter, easiest way to get easy cash i myself am in 1 with 10 ppl and we can merch quite easily

 

Alright sniper, when will the highest point of any item be before a dump? You can't predict the future retard. Learn merching before you talk about it.
