    shawn said that because they usually are masked scams that occur months after the giver has given away the account. Another thing about these threads are the OP excessively/unnecessarily posts on the thread...

    Some examples that I've seen in the short time that I've been online today;
    http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=704666

    I agree as well. This has happened to me and I don't see why it should happen to others.

    Hmm... Well I've read over the thread again, and realistically, I don't see this becoming a rule. There are already too many rules and this may appear that Sythe.org has a rule banning Generosity, which wouldn't be too smart. I think if there was 1 sticky in the market section reminding users that it is a market, and a market only where you buy/sell/trade goods and services, not a donation centre where you can give things away or ask for free services/goods.

    Thanks to all the supporters.
    Please close, thanks.

    I support this for a FEW reasons.

    1. It's annoying
    2. Often times they want a vouch, and despite people being able to value a vouch how they choose, it's still pretty lame, doesn't show "trust"
    3. They can always be recovered/usually do.

    Though.. Some one gave me a 115 once a few years back.. I ended up having it long enough to recover it and locked appeal it ^^, of course he was from starcraft not Sythe.

    Jesus Christ-

    IF SOMETHING SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, THEN IT PROBABLY, NO, DEFINITELY IS!

    There's no such thing as something for nothing with no strings attached. Either they're looking to recover the account with all your items, or are vouch farming and will recover the account as soon as they receive your vouch.
