Uploading Pictures

I'm new to sythe, and I'm sure this is a stupid, easily answerable question, but how do I upload pictures I have saved on my desktop onto a sythe thread without using imageshack or photobucket?

 

You don't. You use an image hosting site and then use their forum thing.

 

You could attach the image to your thread. To do this, scroll down on the page your creating the thread and press Manage Attachments under Attach Files. Use Ctrl+F to search in the page if you can't find the text.
After that it should be pretty self explaining.

 

I've gotten to the point of uploading the pictures onto my thread, but I have another problem now. I have the pictures saved as JPEGS, and it says the max size for uploading those files is 19kb, and the file is 120kb or something. How can I downsize the file further?

 

Use tinypic.

 

Then, instead of decreasing the image's quality it would be better to upload the image to a site like ImageShack or TinyPic.

After uploading get the image to your thread this way..

Well, easy. Copy your images URL and press the little 'Insert Image' button on the top of your Sythe text editor. Paste your URL in the little pop-up box you are getting, and press OK.

Even easier. Copy the text I marked on my image, and paste it where you want in your thread.
