It's kind of a glitch. And it is against the rule "Bug Abusing", so technically you can get banned from this. Although I'm almost certain you won't get any hard punishment as this doesn't help you achieve anything in the game easier.

I know alot of people doing it, and no punishment (as I know) for them. Swordking090 is a P mod who's using this when making videos. No big chance, but if your spamming it, or abusing it you might get a blackmark/warning.

Thanks, pretty cool trick. And i dont think you could get banned just for typing in capitals, people auto-type all the time and nothing happens.

After the latest update (4th of December 2009) this glitch has been patched.
I don't know if it doesn't work on laptop, but this one with "0151" doesn't.
