    New and confused.

i just started playing WoW, and i'm a little confused with some things. I rolled begin a dwarf hunter, and i'm a little confused with, well, a few things. :'(
After i started playing i checked out youtube and i was a little confused with something i saw. I saw that when their was a pvping video, the title said something like unholy paladin or something instead of paladin . And also like arcane mage instead of mage. can somebody explain that? Also whenever i level up i have these points to spend on my charters, umm, talent points i think their called? Do these points have anything to do with becoming say an unholy paladin or something? Thanks. :)

Yes , ever time you level up (after level 10) you get a talent point.
If you go to your talent window you will see how many points you have available for spending . In this window there should be 3 tabs you can select. As you are a hunter the tab should be Marksmanship,Survival and beast mastery. In each tab there is talents you can spend your talent points on which gives you new ability's.
Before you start spending your talents look at them closly and make sure your picking the ones you want because it costs moeny to reset them.

First of all, the person probably meant Holy Pally.

As Yashen said, when your level 10, you get your talent trees. Each class has three trees which you can put points into. You gain those talent points by leveling. You don't have to spend all your points on just ONE tree

The person referred to his mage as an "Arcane" mage because most of his points were put in the Arcane talent tree.

So a hunter has the Beast Mastery talent tree, the Marksmanship talent tree, and the Survival talent tree...

Let's say you spend all your points in Beast Mastery (BM). You can refer to your self as a Beast Mastery Hunter.

Don't pay attention to anything on youtube. "Holy Pally", "Arcane Mage" etc just means the type of talents they have, so a holy pally means they spent talent points in holy.

Just keep leveling, don't listen to PVP stuff until like 60+ or something because it's pointless until then.
