IP checking stuff works to a certain extend, which means anyone can be on any ip on any time on any place any site, its very easy to do, the point is you shouldnt be a dumb ass person in life real to fall into something that you could avoid it very easily ( This apply's to everyone in general ) Here is my two cents (-_-)
I'm absolutely aware it works to a certain extent. People will proxy onto sites all the time. Few scammers run MSN with a proxy. Regardless, public proxies are easily traced, just search the IP and you'll see their on one. Who cares, whoever hacked SenatorJoe2 or SenatorJoe or whoever he is, lacks the brains to evade forever. You'll get the kids once in a while.

Proxies are for Kid's, There are other better things you could use to hide your IP totally, Proxy is a fail, I dont understand why people use them, Remember onething, anything is possible in "Internet World".
Proxies are for people who would like to surf with a basic level of anonymity. They are not "fail." There are better things for everything, anyone can argue that point easily. Proxies are useful for a number of things, you simply have to think imaginatively. I'm not sure who you are lecturing, but people are more than aware that anything is possible on the net.
I meant using Proxies as in entering Sythe or doing things are not suppose to be done - it was about that, I know what a proxy can do, I am not lecturing, it was a comment and opinion.
I see, well your opinion is duly noted. There's just too much negative stereotypes about proxies. They're an amazing tool if used properly; I completely advocate anonymous surfing. It's sad they are abused so often.
