    Free Web Hosting

I been using Webs.com for quite some time, and i been using their free web hosting service...

I would like to know if there is a better site to upload files (mostly html files)

I am looking for a site that has more then 41.9 Mb of web storage, and more then 500 mb Bandwidth...

Is there a better free site?
(please note i am using this for my site, and im hoping to make it bigger and better with more games...)

There is a very good host called http://www.hosthelpers.com

They give like 1gb of disk space, and like 10gb of bandwith PLUS free cpanel. IF you can post 50 posts a month on their thread, they will even give you more :D.

So far I been checking these and found that http://www.ulmb.com/ really does give you amazing deals for free users even. Only disadvantage I found was 2mb uploads per file... Thus I may get the starter package for unlimited file size =)

    thanks exapto!

I recommend 000webhost.com too. I have used it for a long time without any problems.

I've used a couple from that list such as Heliohost and Chimehost... not too bad. But make sure to look in the details for each host. Some make you post on their forums to get webspace. And many allow for .co.co domain and much more...

Where can I buy a domain name and get cheap web hosting? I am planning on starting a social networking site of sorts(no more info is needed) I need to find a way to buy an unused domain name, and I need web hosting provider that will work with me on the high traffic of the site...I would love to keep the price low for starters.

You can buy domain from namecheap , you may not need a dedicated server initially, if site's traffic increases in the future , just upgrade your web hosting plan.

SQWeebs.com. 20G of space and 300G bandwith. The best.

I would recommend http://000webhost.com. The web hosting is really good and provides a *lot* of extra features that you would not get from any other host.
The only real negative is that they sometimes can be twats and just take your website down for unknown reasons so you have to keep your files backed up. Also make sure you keep the account active at least every month as the bot they have detects whether the account has not been active for that long and makes it inactive (your files might get deleted).
Just keep an eye on your files and these are the best host, as far as I know.
