The Melting Pot

Many history books refer to America as a "melting pot" of races, ethnicities, and cultures. This lead me to wonder if at some point in time, would there just be one race and one culture? One has to think about how many people are already mixed with dozens of races and cultures. Would this be a bad thing? Would culture be lost? Or would it be a good thing; everyone living together with the same culture and no racism or theories of a superior race? Discuss.

 

It won't happen anytime soon; People always want a sense of superiority.

 

Yea I agree I doubt this will happen anytime soon, and if it did, it would certainly not be a good thing, culture would DEFINITELY be lost.

 

What's the importance of culture?

 

Probably won't happen. Everyone is just too different.

 

We'll always have differences, no matter what we look like. No matter what it is, people will always find a way to be better then others. Which is a good thing in my opinion; competition is great for the world.
