With the other ones nobody can know when they first happened; however, you exclaimed that they coincide, meaning they happened at the same time or occupied exactly corresponding positions. Which clearly, they have nothing in common time wise.

Like everything, we humans have a good side and a bad side. Technology has given us the miracles of medicine, space exploration, etc., and it has also given us nuclear weapons, guns, etc. I don't think we're destroying ourselves, we're still, as a whole, learning and maturing together...and maturing definitely has consequences.
