Perm banned for nothing?! Help?

On Page 21 Mod Mark says that nobody from 9/9/09 will be unbanned

 

It's so dumb of Jagex to do this shit.. they say it was bug abuse at first and when people ask what bug it was they say they can't discuss it. Then they change it to just manual permanent ban and still have no explanation, something must have changed their minds to make them change it to the manual permanent ban but its w/e now I guess. I've given up all hope of getting my account back and have just moved on to a new account. R.I.P. Xposed Skill

 

It's because you've probaly got a high report count.
Meaning they've had enough of your disrupting/annoying heaviour in their game?

 

I personally never follow links to the RuneScape website from sites like Sythe (or any other cheating site).

For example, if I clicked the link to the RS forums a few posts above - Jagex would receive data on what site referred me. There's no way to tell if they record that information, but no doubt they could if they wanted. I never put links to RuneScape on my site, because in my opinion, it would put people at risk.

I'm not saying I think that's what happened to you guys... but if the victims are all members of specific website(s), and Jagex give out more of these manual bans once every few months, it would look like a feasible explanation. What is certain, is they were gathering intelligence on you somehow, and have no knowledge of a specific offense, but still believe you deserve to be banned. Unlucky.

Every time you click a link, your browser will set the current url as the referrer http header, the website you go to receives this information. It is used by most sites for statistical purposes but can be used for security.

There are ways you can prevent it, and some browsers give the option to turn referrer headers off, but given the posting of links to RuneScape here, I guess most of you guys wouldn't have been aware of this issue till now.

Yah Basically they know i cheat rs wether it be bot/rwt/lure etc. they have no actual proof so the label it as "Bug Abuse" Which is basically a blanket term. Then when people complained because they honeslty didnt abuse a bug and were like what bug did we abuse? They changed it to just a plain manuel ban. RID I got 70-89 magic using your bot Then Java got fucked and i sold the remaining hours.

No Joke, I had 8 Language offenses on my acc which was banned.

 

They're taking every precaution to avoid anything seen as a threat to them. Unfortunately, it really isn't that fair.

I don't see how you could possibly be unbanned.

 

idk jagex is pretty stupid but some people have told me that a perm bban only last for a year or two at most.

 

Sorry about gravedigg but I'm still banned.. Anybody get unbanned from 9/9/09? I got 2 appeals, and both were denied.

 

You're "Manual Permanent Banned" if your parents e-mail them at [email protected]

They can request a permanent ban if they can provide credit card info, billing info, etc.

The ONLY way to unban this is to e-mail them again using the same e-mail you used to ban that account, and tell them to unban you.
