World War III

Well I'd say Korea, since it's developing nuclear missles. Well if you don't plan on using them there's really no use for them to collect dust, and it's pretty expensive as well which makes me wonder...

I agree, if every country has this form of weaponry, I don't think other countries will try to bother another, at least with not using force.

 

If there was a WW3, i think it would be nukes and if it was, it would be over within 2 days of everyone blowing the fuck out of eachother

 

I think we're too civilized to start a war world.

From an American's perspective :

The only possible instigators I can think of that would stand ANY kind of chance would have to be North Korea, Venezuela or some middle eastern country like Iran... That's if countries like Russia and China decided to team up with them. I'm sure America alone (if we were able to use our military's full potential ) could easily wipe all three off the face of the earth. Though having China and Russia would surely help in their favor, but I'm sure the US and our allies (europeans, aussies etc.) would be able to overcome.

But like I said. Russia and China would be stupid to join in. If they were to it would ultimately end in an all out nuclear war and the nations of the world would destroy themselves militarily and economically.

There are several other scenarios, like us destroying all known nuclear sites over in russia/china. But it's useless to talk about.

I think an American civil war and the collapse of the US would happen before ww3. I don't see how we can continue to live like this with our debt going up astronomically over the years. FDR screwed us over and Reagan started the debt piling all up again in the 80s, and our current president isn't doing much for us in that department either. He's already spent more than Bush did (I am not defending him in any way) with his two wars over 8 years. And wanting to spend more trillions for health care over 10 years, it's disgusting.

 

We will live to see another World War, who would start it or when is unpredictable. Though I do not doubt it will happen.

I doubt there will be one, like Marda said, we're too civilised to start a world war now days.
Maybe there will be one, maybe there won't, although I don't think there'll be one within my lifetime.

Because the whole world would get destroyed and nobody would be gaining anything other than killing the whole earth people + destroying anything living on Earth (ever heard of effects of nuclear bombs after its explosion?? Nasty radiated clouds, here you go...)

Why is everyone so hyped on the fucking nukes? I think it would be more likely to have a world war without anyone firing nukes at all. Honestly, you gotta be dumb as shit to fire nukes at other countries that can retaliate with nukes.

 

There aren't treaties between groups of powerful countries like there used to be. If North Korea, Iran, China, etc got attacked it would turn into a dog pile.

The war that is going to happen within 15 years is:

Israel will attack an Arabic country (most likely Iran) and drag the United States + NATO into it.

 

Well I guess that sounds about right, seeing as that area is the closest we got to a "war."

 

If there was any military strike against a nation under the NATO organization, then no matter what, the U.S. will retaliate as will any other nation against the threat.

A war will not start from just North Korea and their bombs, they know, if they start nuking the shit out of people right now, then they are screwed beyond all relief, and, be charged with all damages and be sued beyond all relief for possession of nuclear warfare and attempting to break the "Code of War".

Nuclear warfare wont be used unless someone uses it first. No one wants to use it first because no matter what, there's going to cause the whole world into a huge controversial debate whether or not either side is guilty or not.

That is the exact reason the U.S. is invading Afghanistan, in search of Osama bin Laden, and the reason we invaded Iraq. If the U.S. was to leave these nations without a proper guidance and properly established unitary system, that specific nation WILL convert to communism. This would be a repeat of the Cold War, the primary leaders trying to convert as much countries into their unit as possible. They know, if they can receive more support, a war can strike any minute. If the U.S. can bind the countries into a unified force that the opposing forces can trifle with, then there will be no threat. Putting the enemy into a submission.

 

That post made me laugh. The U.S. is already breaking the "code of war", also known as the Geneva Convention. And since when was the war in Afghanistan about communism?

 

U.N vs China and Russia and Islamic States.

The U.N finally goes into the Sudan, and there are major reciprocations.

 

If N. Korea did attack someone with a nuke, there wouldn't be anything left to sue for damages. North Korea would cease to exist above the 38th parallel.

Oh, and I'd rather have the Middle East be stable communists than run by Militant Islamic gov'ts.

Pretty much hit the nail on the head with this one. But Iran would be the culprit in starting it. Like, um, how they continue to build Nuclear plants?

 

I would say North Korea or even Iran would start World War III. North Korea because of it devloping nukes recently, making the US angry, and Iran because of its 'Nuclear Program' which started in 2005 and aroused suspicions that it might concentrate these efforts for offensive nuclear technology (eg. nukes).

If either of these countries (or very unlikely, terrorists) become the case, then WWIII is not that far away. Bye bye planet Earth.

 

Bah, if both sides have nukes, it becomes a Mexican standoff. I don't think anyone would strike first and take the blame for a nuke war.
