    Question

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section or if it has been asked before. I did a search and didnt find anything. Do guides have to be typed out, or can you use a video?

    Question

You can use a video, but some literature to go along with it is always good.

    Question

Okay, thanks for the quick response. Now is user education solely for guides, or can you write about the history of a subject? Like an overview?

    Question

If you're defining guides as more of step by step tutorials, then no, I'm 90% sure that the UE section is for any kind of enlightenment other than the restricted topics in the stickies.

However, I think its best for you to give a brief history/summary/background information of a subject then elaborate on what kind of things a user could do with the subject or how the user could apply the knowledge you are providing.

For example, you could give a brief history of how headphones are made and how they work. Then, you could relate it to the bigger picture by teaching users how to identify efficient and high quality headphones.

    Useful education :D

    Question

Yes you may. The history of a subject can educate people so yes everything can be written as long as it educates. You would probably post it in the misc. section if there are no categories you can pertain the topic too.
