Trading Game money in real life is also an instant of "Stealing" as all pixels in runescape are owned by jagex. having most of you signed the user agreement. u agreed that if to sell gold u are as sutch stealing jagex property there for no law suit is being filed at all this is just simple E-Drama.

Absolutely. This looks like a bunch of mess thats un-needed.
And that is true, I was buying gold a while back and sent some guy 600$
and he took it. And I called his police dept. and told them what happened.
And because it involved virtual gaming and it violated the terms & conditions
of Jagex I couldn't do anything.

Actually, Renkei, an End-User Agreement in an online game has absolutely no relevance to criminal law. You are in no way "stealing". You also could never be charged for copyright infringement, because there is legal precedent that states:

    1) Virtual items do hold real value
    2) Virtual items belong to those who acquire them

So in response to your statement, there is nothing illegal about buying or selling virtual items. Furthermore, your theory of "two wrongs make a right" is not present anywhere in the developed world's legal systems. If John Doe has you send him $5,000 in return for 1,000M on Runescape, or 20 X-Boxes, there is no difference, or even . John must provide the product he is selling, otherwise he is committing theft (or fraud in this case). It is never legal to steal another person's property.

IDK if any action could be taken, because as paypal says nothing can be done with intangible goods.

Basically, what you just said is, if runescape bans you, you can sue them because they took away "your" items. The items DO NOT hold real value. When you can pull that gold and dragon armour out of your computer screen, I will edit this post.

On a second note, The items do belong to the person who aquires them IN GAME. They hold no value outside of the game.

Just thought I should state that this thread is useless, STILL. I have repaid all
parties involved in my "Retard" stage well call it regardless if you believe me.
Ive accepted responsibility for my wrong doings and have made them right.
This thread is all spam and flame and was meant for the purpose on page one.

    "(Hope this guy gets caught)"
    "(Scammers are retarded)"

Thats all this thread contains really and it is useless.

    QUICK FYI:

There is someone posing me on craigslist that was a partner of mine.
Easy way to find out he's nothing but a scam is his tatics.
DO NOT DEAL WITH LOGAN BIRCH WHATSOEVER.
And if I was involved why would I give out his name.

Scamming real life money or runescape is wrong and BELIEVE ME.
Your wrong doings will get you in trouble so don't think your slick.

*Mr. Will Hogarth (R2pleasent), I would appreciate you realize that this thread is pointless.
I can provide proof to you that I have made amends and I am currently
employed and going to school, I have no time for this garbage anymore
and my past was me being an idiot but I am no longer involved in such
    activities. Thanks*

So by your logic, if I write a program, it's not real property, because I can't "pull it out of my computer screen"?

Yes, items do belong to the player in the game who acquires them. It takes him/her time and effort to acquire the items, which is why other people are willing to pay real money to get them. The sale of virtual items is actually a service, whether you are a gold farmer and acquire them directly onto a customer's account, or you simply buy and resell gold and transfer between two accounts.

Your arguments are flawed; on one hand you argue that intangible items hold no real value (which is stupid because people obviously are willing to pay for them), and on the other hand you argue that they DO hold real value but it is somehow illegal to sell them because of an end-user agreement. Let me ask you, could Jagex try and have you criminally charged for using a basic macro on your account? Could they have you prosecuted for account sharing? These are all rules on the EULA, and yet it would be laughable to have Jagex try and have a player charged for breaking one of them.

If Runescape were to ban your character with items on it, you would have absolutely no right to sue. Although your items hold real value, you are still subject to Jagex's rules at the game-level. Jagex could ban you for whatever reason you want, because you play the game under their terms. But as I said this has absolutely no relevance to you breaking any laws.

Just thought I would stop in for my monthly post I guess you could call it.
Its good to see the spam & flaming has gone down.
Doesn't really excite me that Will still has this posted, but I guess he sees it as needed.
Even though by having this thread here and not cleaning it he is condoning to rule-breaking and spam.

No complaints here really, feels good having a clear conscience for once in my life.
I'm going to make a little list for the Mods to look at to show you how helpful I can be ^_^

    Bwuk Welfare
    GrAApe DrAAnk
    ITACHItrader
    Ilovethecops
    Hxc
    Sick V2
    Chewy Dips
    Jaanitis

The above people are ALL Ban Evaders / Previous Scammers
One of which has scammed over 13,000 PayPal.

I do this because scamming is something I did, not what I do.
Helping people in the Market Place with fair and legit sales is what I do.
After making things right with the people I scammed I knew I could be honest and do my sales the right way.
And you guys don't even know that I'm still here, I have 77 Vouches currently.

So in closing I would like to say this, Honesty is the best policy.
Yeah I hide on sythe, but at least im doing honest trades.
    EXAMPLE:
R2pleasent, SURE, him and I don't see eye to eye. But guess what?
He has been an honest seller since day 1 and guess what he has, Credibility, Respect, and success.

    Think about it ^_^
    Chow.
