Ableton Live vs. FL Studio (Fruity Loops)

I've been looking into getting one or the other but I'm not sure which would better suit my needs. Ableon is definitely more expensive but is it worth it? I'm looking to make Trance/House beats and produce them and such. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

 

Well from what I've seen on youtube, Fruity Loops was the only result I got when I looked into making hardstyle music. So I'd say Fruity Loops = more popular. I'd really get into it if I could get it free. As for Ableon I don't know much about it but Fruity Loops looks annoying and unnecessarily hard.
