Why are rares so high?

I quit RuneScape a while back (around June or so) and Rares were kinda down there, Easter Eggs were 4.5mil, Pumpkins were about 7mil, and Disk's were about 9 or so.

Why are they so high now? I checked out the Easter Egg and its up to almost 20mil! What the fuck is up with that XD, I have never seen it that high.

Did Jagex change the prices or something on rares to make them harder to get?

 

Basically because 76king, the economy's fucked and everything is inflated because its so easy to make money now.

 

U cannot obtain rares anywhere else than from players(or g.e), and many accounts gets banned with those rares on em... So there s less and less rares on the market everyday, making em expensive.
They gonna rise forever

 

All rares will go up in time. Natural law, wait until they are 100m each lol.

This is due to inflation.

 

1. There will never be any more of them and they can only be lost so their value lasts forever.

2. The smart, very rich and powerful merch clans that keep under the radar have bought out a lot of them.

Also, Chessy018 bought out 1000+ Santa Hats, so that explains the Santa hat prices.

 

Amt of rares keep gettin smaller n smaller.

 

As some people said, it's mainly because of the inflation. There's also people that have piles of cash who owns some of them. And many botters buy theses, knowing they'll get banned botting and making the rare item even rarer.

Does anyone sees that the prices of all the items are going up as when we could stake, pking and trade without limits? Remember the AGS at 150m. Santa's hat at 20m and 90m+ for mask set. I'm pretty sure we're going back to that age.

 

I know i all ways am thinking about that because nature runes are back to 300now, whips are where they used to be, same with furys.

At this rate we'll have the old wildy back in no time or at least it feels like it

thats why christmas crackers are the most expensive, mainly because there is hardly any of them left, and no one will sell for the trade price, because its next to priceless.

 

yeah, they just keep getting rarer and rarer.... which means they become more valuable!

 

another reason they keep getting rarer and rarer is cause botters like to buy rares so that if they do end up getting banned at least they were able to take out a few rares with them. if u think about how many botters are doing this, it adds up.

supply and demand. the more people buy or want the more the price goes up.the less people buy or want the price goes down

 

Cause they were releassed in 2002-2003,when not many ppl played RS and some of them quited , so after like 6-7 years their went up because if low amount that exist in RS ,basicly - low amount - high prize
