    SAT Scores
    How many people from the US have taken their SATs for college admission yet?


    This was my first and only time. I plan to take 2 SAT subject tests and then retake the whole test again. Not really sure yet. I need to get my reading up as not many school look into writing.

    I took it in 9th grade and I got like 590 math, 560 writing, 550 reading... maybe 10 less on the 2 english parts... I know i got 590 on math though. >_>.

    Not nearly up to my standards, I'm going to have to actually prepare for the 10/10 test.

    Not sure what I got on each subject I don't remember but I know I got a 1680 overall :/ Taking the ACT next month; I've heard it's much easier and colleges take eaither or.

    I got 2350/2400. Didnt even study or shit before the night of the test. The stuff on there has nothing on ap subject tests.

    I got a 1530 when I took them. Not too great, but not too bad..

    Its really your letters of recommendation and transcript that get you into a good school, not your SAT/ACT scores.

    9th grade is early. I took after my 10th grade year, and might take again. I know I'm taking SAT II (subject tests) this year though.

    My sister took ACTs and got a better converted score also. Not sure if I'm going to take them or not. My mom wants me to though.

    Agreed :)

    My sister is going to Syracuse and her scores were in the 500's but she writes an amazing essay and asked the right teachers to recommend her. She only has to pay $8,000 a year with the grants scholarships she got.

    I took the math subject SAT test last spring. I'm taking the whole thing in January.

    Can someone tell me the equivlent to A*,A,B,C... etcc and what year do you take them in.

    I would say your GPA and your Scores get you into good colleges. Not really recommendation's.

    ^^agreed, GPA and scores are a huge part. People just say they aren't so others can feel better.

    thats good. Do they look at the 4 main courses? or a language and art and all that stuff too?

    Did you take Math I or Math II?

    Can't really be equated to a letter grade. It is a college admission test consisting of 3 parts now (Math, Reading, Writing). You write an essay that is graded on a scale out of 12 and each of the 3 parts gives you a score of 200-800.

    So a 2400 is perfect.

    I haven't yet but I can tell you that I plan on just showing up on the day of the test. I do best when I don't prepare for some reason. Also, I'm not wasting the currency and time on a practice test or prep book lol

    I took the test when I was 11(7th grade), And I scored 1500 on the dot. I believe I scored about evenly on each section, but I did the best on the writing by like 30 points.
