Runescape is dieing, and will be dead in 1 or 2 years, its becoming easier and easier, they cant stop bots and economy is shitty.
Thats why they re making mechscape and maybe runescape 3

You can already play on the iTouch. Although, the only way is to use a program that monitors your computer screen and you can see it on the iTouch screen.

Nah not hard getting JAVA on XbOx 360 tbh.

 

Forgive me if i'm wrong, but when my PS3 asks me to install a newer version of JAVA, and i do, i thought that ment that i have JAVA.

 

i disagree, to an extreme. runescape has kept up with the so called 'best' mmo known as WoW. in my opinion it would grab more attention being placed on a console, seeing as how most games for xbox 360 gain plenty of hype and never seem to fail.

now, on another side, why the hell would you keep java? if you placed a damn internet game on a console, you would use the damn graphics it had in order to create a far better landscape and thus a better visual experience, so think about that too?

and also, to those that are saying java would be hard to implement, its called a simple download? yeah cool.

also with the whole subscription thing for xbox 360, they wouldn't make you pay for two fucking subscriptions smart ass, for one your a ps3 fanboy (i like both the 360 and ps3, so don't rank on me)

in my own opinion, it'd be great. and someone said what if you didn't have xbox live, you would pk by yourself. the game isn't completely based on damn pking, a lot of people just enjoy the skilling so go complain elsewhere if it wouldn't satisfy you.

yes i know this is an idea section but fuck, tired of those people that seem to completely down the idea, even though it could have a great outline and really bring Jagex's idea of how runescape should be portrayed.

SOLUTION

For xbox360 .. If you were a Dick Head, Don't ready cuz u wont understand!​

1-Chatting problem: have you ever heard about voice to text software? I have heard & downloaded it! Google about it ( Its name is Dragon voice to text or so.. I can't really remember). It can be easily installed in RS for xbox360 . We are talking about a completly changed game man!

2-Java Problem: Ugh ... like does Flash work for DS ? Now yes! The Cd it self can has an emulator. or it can install it into firmware .. 1K+ ppl from Jagex, Sun(Java), Microsoft can work on it ... So it's not that hard.

3-Controller problem: Have an open mind! If the whole game would be changed why don't it has a new controll settings?? like use analog to run for example! or analog to move pointer ... like the pointer in the psp browser man!Also xbox360 shall have a movement sensetive controller soon.. why worry?

 

That'd be pretty cool on xbox 360.

Thats the only way it would work, as a mouse isnt available... and for typing it would be like other xbox games you would use the joystick to select letters and if you wanted to/can hook up a keyboard.

 

PKing with Wii remotes would be sweet. But besides that, the game would be impossible on a 360 controller or any other controller. Plus the cost for launching would be amazingly high.

 

phantasy star universe is just like runescape just in a different time setting

Only quests and basic skills, no multiplayer.
