Cataclysm emails

Ok someone posted earlier about them recieving an email and I also recieved one, It is probably someone from this community as im not signed to any other forums that are WoW based.

Do not go on that website, Just a warning it is a scam site.

 

I've recieved 2.. And no.. It's from BLIZZARD! themselves.
note: [email protected] .. So. Yeah, it's safe.

 

Lol its sent from a php mail form its easy to fake send emails.

It's fake and is NOT safe!

 

hey idiot beta testing didn't open.....

 

Yeah, I got one today, I was wondering why it said it was from Blizzard, but it was 110mb so I wasn't going to be a retard and get my account stolen.

Please be prepared to enter the current retail World of Warcraft account name and password you use, and the appropriate information to authenticate your eligibility to connect to the The Cataclysm alpha test realms. Troubleshooting:

If you scroll over you'll see a sloppy typo highlighted that blizzard would never make.

 

Received this before.

It looks legit, but i know i wouldn't fall for Phishers.

 

If you hover over the link in the email, its easy to see its a phisher.

 

seems blizzard got this site shut down fast as the site doesnt exist anymore. tried it on my old shitty comp i dont use.

 

Yea I wouldn't trust it um. There having been people using the @vip to make emails look legit. Always use "Show Detials" for true information on who it really is from.

 

It's simple; all you need to do is send a reply and you'll see it's sent to some other email

 

Everyone should just realize Blizzard won't email you unless you ask them something. There's no reason they'll email you unless you ask for support, help or signup for something.

 

Well, as MegaMatt has stated, if you hover your mouse over the link,
look in the bottom left of the open browser,
you'll notice that it's actually a .110mb link.
This is infact a scam.
