Creating A Website With Forums

What's a good website for hosting, and how would I set it up. About how much will it cost?

 

Go Daddy is probably the best. You're going to need a domain name and hosting. A domain name is something like $3 USD and a years worth of hosting is about $11 for a .com. If you want to add me I can help you set the forums up. The best free forums would be Phpbb v.3.0, but you're best off with buying a years license for VB if you're serious. VB for a 1 year lease is something like $100 USD.

 

You can also get a cracked version of vb i think. Also, free hosting from freehostia isnt bad at all if you want to try it.

 

Yeah, if you get caught with that you're so fucked >_<

 

I've heard that the vBulletin company just sends you an angry e-mail asking you to take it down? Doesn't seem too bad, it's only a warning.

 

Ya I'm going with Phpbb. If my website becomes successful I'll buy VB. I signed up at siteground.com, it has a Phpbb plan that has automatic instillation and a promotional for the first month only $2. I think after a month I have a good idea of what will happen with the site it cost like $5-$8 a month after that.

If you get caught with cracked then there is a high chance they will file a DMCA on you. And i wouldn't recommend using autoinstallers.

 

They won't send a angry e-mail. What happened to my old site which I was admin on was that they did file something. Also, we got ddoSD at the same time.

 

I recommend starting with a free forum from:

www.phpbb.com

It is the easiest forum software and is free.

You could use NULLED VB, but it is ILLEGAL.
