Donations Migrated

The donations system uses 1m = $3
(Which was the average market price when GP donations were still accepted.)

As such 5m = $3 x 5 = $15

And $15 < $25

Sorry but at this time I'm not going to do that. When the new donations system came out with the new ranks, everyone was told that old donations would be migrated to the new system at some point.

This allows old donators to receive the new perks and to make full use of the new donations system.

 

You haven't been cheated...

People who donated 1m in the old system were given 1m in the new system.

All I did was give them the lowest rank so they wouldn't lose their rank completely.

Keep this in mind: if anyone with that 1m donation tries to donate again in the future, they won't get a free 0.7m or whatever it is.

As in, if they wanted to donate to the $25 level, they would have to donate $22 because I'm only going to count their current donation as $3, not $5.

I knew this transition would irritate some people but either way people would be irritated.

Either I irritate some people who lose their old ranks or I irritate people with old ranks who want the new ones with the new perks.

Obviously I chose to move everyone because now all donators are on one system which is easier to manage.

EDIT:

Also, on the donations center, users who have the $5 rank but only donated 1m ($3) will get a notice letting them know what happened and that they have to donate that extra $2 I mentioned above.
