Well first, it looks like you took a few copies of the render and smudged it. That's a no-no. If you're wanting it to have colors from the render, take a dark and a light version of the same color (e.g. a dark green and a light green), and make a radial gradient with the render on top of it. It'll help you with the background. I don't feel that text was needed in this piece. You're going to need to get brushes. I only recommend splatters, or vectors, as the rest usually tend to suck.

Bad text placement/color, Maybe I'm biased because I rarely use text and when I do it's only because people whine about no text.

Dull and ugly colors, could do well with more spice to them, maybe.

Patterns or whatever you used (transparent smudge?) isn't very good in my opinion, clear up the focal point, it might even add a sense of depth.

Very nice. Wish it was a bit bigger and had no text but that's one of the first anime sigs I've ever liked.

Thanks for all the advice Kaiban. And yes I pasted copies and blurred it. Are you saying I should ONLY add gradient radial to the background? Nothing else? And but my image over it? I'll try that.

marda: Yea, I couldn't get the image to be non-transparent. I figured out today I you have to do is set the image/text YOu want nontransparent to Non-overlay.

Inventor: Thanks for the nice comment.
