New Wireless Card Problems? HELP!

Hey guys, hoping someone can really help me with this. Now I'm very good with computers, which is why I built the one I'm using right now .

Okay so recently I moved and decided to move my router and just go wireless from now on. So I went on out and bought a Wireless Card from Best Buy, installed it just fine. Everything was simple and snapped right into place.

Internet was working great and all the sudden it stops for a second. For example while I play WoW the latency will shoot through the roof for maybe 15 seconds and then lower again. When I play Halo it'll be CONNECTION INTERRUPTED for 15 seconds and go normal again.

I've reset the router, reset the connection, checked the configuration of the card, moved my router, and just about every other thing I could think of. The card is from Linksys, if that helps.

Any ideas? Please help.

 

most wireless cards have connection problems, its something that is generally unavoidable. i got lucky and got an old d-link pci card and its just as good as using my ethernet port. is yours usb? if so, thats your problem. if its pci, then you should try returning it and trying another model/brand.

 

Wireless cards have USB?
My Ethernet ALWAYS have problems, nothing wrong with that
