Full guide - How to make a Zerker Pure

This is my first fully-written guide, so go easy on me.
I'm not really a great fan of Zerker Pures, but it was requested, so i will try my best ^_^ ​

This guide will assume the following:
- You will be using a members account
- You have a small amount of knowledge in P2P

End Goals:
- 50/60/70/75 Attack
- Highest Strength possible (The higher the better )
- 45 Defence
- Optional Range/Magic
- 1/43/60/70 Prayer


The thing with Zerker Pures, is that there are MANY ways of going about it. I will explain a few briefly, as it shouldn't be hard to mix and match to make your perfect pure.

Lets start with Melle.

First of all, lets get the early stages done. Your level 3, your sitting in Lumbridge Castle and you don't know where to train. Your thinking of rock crabs, but even though they are only level 13 they will still 'Pwn' you.

Here's the best way to go around it:
- Chickens at the Lumbridge or Falador Chicken farm. Now they may only be a low level with 3HP, but you can get some pretty quick experience for the first 20-30 levels of attack/strength/defence here. Not to mention the prayer levels you get.

Here's a quick breakdown of it:
1 Chicken =
-12 experience to attack/strength/defence or 4 to all (if using shared exp)
- 4.5 experience to Prayer (If burying bones)
- 30-40 GP in feathers (Small bonus)

It shouldn't take too long to get around 20 to each stat (Maybe only 10-15 for prayer). Not to mention how easy it is to bot there, you can most likely get these short term goals in a day, maybe 2 (Depending on how long you keep the bot on for).

How to get to chickens:



Small recap, heres what you have so far:
- 20 Attack
- 20 Strength
- 20 Defence
- 10-20 Prayer (If burying bones).
- Around 100k from feathers (They are worth picking up)

Not bad, not bad. Now it's time to take a quick trip to Varrock. Head north to the Grand Exchange (I'm sure you know where that is ), and buy yourself the following:
- Full mith set and scimmy
- Full addy set and scimmy
- 100 Cooked Lobsters
- 5-10 Camelot tele tabs
- A few varrock tele tabs
- Glory amulet (If not enough money, Strength amulet)

Equip your mith set, scimmy and amulet. Bank everything else, then withdraw all your camelot tele tabs, and 25 Lobsters.

Use one of your tele tabs, and from there we will be heading to Rock crabs. Here's a basic route i just made (Starting from the place you land when you tele):



Here is where you are going to be doing quite a lot of your training.
Get 30 of each stat (Attack/Strength/Defence) and then bank run, to get your addy set and scim.

Many will argue that training all 3 stats at the same pace is a bad idea, however i believe it is a very good idea in this case, as when you reach 30-40 defence you will no longer need food, the attack is for better weapons in order to hit more, and strength speaks for it self.

Keep training here, until you have around 40 Attack / 40 Strength / 40 Defence.
This part however, is very flexible, you can stay as long as you want, or as little as you like. It's simply up to you.

So you've got the basics done, that shouldn't of really taken TOO long. Now you're headed for Edgeville, for Soul Wars. You can teleport to Edgeville by right clicking your Glory amulet, and clicking Operate (or rub if not equipped), then follow this simple route:




Now you're on your own. Its completely up to you what you do from now on!... Nearly..

There's a few different ways you can go with this. Firstly (My personal favourite):

60 Attack
High Strength
45 Defence
70 Prayer
94 Magic
Any Range

Equipped:
Mystic Robe Top, Mystic Robe Bottoms, Zerker Helm, Glory Amulet, Obby Cape, Dragon Scimmy, Mystic Boots, Ring of Wealth, Mystic Gloves, Obby Shield OR Rune Defender (Personal preference, i'd go with the defender).

Inventory:
1x DDS
Ice Barrage runes
20x Monkfish/Shark
1x Super Strength Pot (4)
1x Magic Pot (4)
1x Lumbridge teleport tab

How:
I think its quite obvious how this is going to work, but i'll explain anyway.
- Ice barrage (Keep them frozen at all times, cast spell every 5-10 seconds, or every 3-4 Scimmy hits)
- Lower their HP with Dragon Scimmy hits
- When they are on 1/2-3/4 HP, equip your DDS and use your special. If you get good hits on the first special, keep speccing until they are dead. If you get a poor first special, and they are eating, don't bother. Save your special and continue with your Dragon Scimmy. Remember to keep ice barrage up!
- Remember to keep your magic and strength up with the potions
- Remember, you will need to eat sometimes too!

Real zerkers pures... have barrow gloves.
So this isn't really a full guide, you need to do all the right quests for def and stuff x.x

I never said it was finished yet.
It WILL be a full guide, soon. I want to pick out all the parts i missed, and any mistakes i made first.
Also, barrow gloves aren't really a must. They not really worth the hassle IMO.

Besides, i don't see you at least trying to make any guides, i said go easy on me.

Sorry for being so.. aggressive towards you, it just annoyed me that i spent hours on this, and you decided to pick out the negative side, rather than the positive.

 

Your missing a lot of stuff but I'll go easy since its your first guide. Try showing what quests are needed to get barrows gloves, and explain how defence isn't supposed to be training by other means besides quests. Include more pictures too

 

It's fine, but Zerkers are meant to have the max str bonus possibly with the equipment they can wear(torso, b gloves, str ammy, zerker helm etc)
and they are wroth the hassle.

I don't really know much about Zerker's, like i said. But someone PMed me about it, so i decided to give it a shot.

 

Include the actual setup gear, locations to train, quest pictures, stuff like that

 

Obsidian shield, aka toktz-ket-xil requires 60 defence, so zerker pures can't use it.

The guide itself is not bad, but keep adding useful information.

Ok thanks alot. I don't really feel like carrying on with this guide, but the feedback has helped me, and i will consider it all in future guides.

Think i'll go for something that i know a bit more about next time, Magic training arena or something.

 

+12 strength isn't really worth the hassle?...
