Is your suspicion for people on sythe decrease and your trust increase the higher their postcount is?

Would you be more willion to trust a person with 1k posts than one with 28?

If this is true would a scammer just have to come into sythe and get well known before he makes his move?

    I'm just curious about this

Well, somewhat. If they care about their postcount, they obviously don't want to be banned.

I said no, but. If you have 20 posts, and I don't know who you are... Um. I won't trust you at all. If you have 1000+ and I don't know you, I will respect you more, but not trust you any more...

I mainly look at posts and vouches to determine ones trust.

IMO, if they care enough about the post count to stick around to get 1k+ then they have to be semi-legit to do a small trade.

Would i let them house sit for me? Probably not.

I've seen people with 1k+ Scam before, if they want something so bad, they might be willing to do a lot to get it.

Of course, if the trade is big enough. Why scam a pin for that? It's like you thinking i'd waste this account over a pin. I have a reputation unlike new members, I'd like to keep.

I chose most of the time, for big trades, no, MM only. But for things like pins, I wait for positive feedback first, then I'll go first to them.

A combination of post count and join date contribute.. Not an overwhelming amount though. Vouches are more important imo, but tbh most of the time I can see a scam coming and know when to use a MM to avoid a scam.

It really doesn't matter how many posts you have or what not, but I believe the best way to earn some trust, or to see if someone is legitimate is talking with them first.

I dont know about you guys, but just talking to someone, asking questions and hten analysing their answers, seeing if they're in a rush, and then analyzing if they are real or not, gains some trust.

There are many members, forum addicts etc, that are legit, and I guess there is this difference between a trustworthy person and a non-trustworthy person, there is no name for it, but you can tell.

Its like a Guru that joined like 2 months ago and already has 1000+ posts, I would suspect that something is up and probably lose some trust.

    Postcount doesn't matter

You could have 2000 Posts and say "i'm trusted"./ They are just posts

I'd rather trust somebody with 100 Posts and 10 Vouches than somebody with 2000 Posts and 2 vouches,.

I don't really use post count to determine trust, I get to know a people first for a while and only trade with the people I trust and are friends with.

This being said, I'm careful with whom I trade with and always all of the time I have A Middle Man.

I can usually manipulate people into going first, for a trade no matter what post count, vouches etc..

So my trades are 100% Legit.

Actually, someone with 2,000 posts would be alot less likely to scam $15 in a trade then someone who has 200 posts.

Post count is why I don't have services posted yet. People always judge on post count and vouches, not excluding myself. Vouches, I can't blame them for, but if someone has like 70 posts with 20+ vouches (which is rare), then people probably still won't use them.

Anybody can spam 1k messages in two months or so (like alot of sythe users you know who you are) and try get "trust"
But getting quality vouches takes time and intergrity.
I dont trust donators or "guru - apprentices" more than leechers either, some leechers have done more business with me then alot of established tradesman.
If the vouches are for training, giving free and/or questing etc I wont trust because anyone can do that, but selling 50m going first and getting vouched for it shows you are more trusting then the other guy. (TBH i have little trust for anyone lol)

    Quality Vouches> Normal vouches > Training/questing/free Vouches
