    The Existence of God

The Holy Quran no scientific evidence has been found to contradict it...
and no dont tell me it says the sun revolves around the world etc. bcoz i can so easily dispell that as i had earlier...
i recommend reading english translations of it if u truly believe in ur beliefs its no harm..
just as i read the torah and bible regardless of my religious beliefs.

    The Existence of God

God or not i fear death.
the thought of dieing and no longer being conscious no longer exsisting just to be a corpse in the ground in as little as 60 years makes me wana cry just like the thought of becoming old.
and i do believe in God but ill prolly go hell... so its not fear of hellfire that stops me goin hell; i do girls etc.

to say u think people who believe in God are scared to die is abit vague can you be abit more precise? ;)

    The Existence of God

There may be contradictions, but that's because they are man written. You can't believe everything in one book that was written by man to follow your whole life by. I believe in God, and yes, the "Christian" God. I'm intelligent enough to realize that you can follow a book word for word though. I do realize I'm repeating myself, so I will stop before you read anything over again.

If you're good at English then I'm a Vulcan.

I'm not going to add you to my MSN because I figure it'd be a one-sided debate; you ignore everything everyone else says and just present things with only slight relevance to the post previously pointed at you. I only add people who I find are worth talking to. Consider yourself not to be a part of that list.

There is no scientific evidence that santa doesnt exist, because things that dont exist do not produce evidence of their non existance.

I don't believe there is a God. If there was then why does he give some people better lives than others?

That just means you don't believe in a fair, just God. Anything else is a similar argument of ignorance.

    The Existence of God

All of you provide textbook examples of "argumentum ad ignorantiam" or argument from ignorance. Just because there is no evidence to support it does not make the argument invalid or wrong, I could easily argue the same situation the other way. "If the holy Quran has no scientific evidence to validate its text, then everything it says is false" or "There is no scientific proof to disprove my supernatural being so he must exist" Before you post in the SFA, at least know your common logical fallacies.

    The Existence of God

Bah, i've often argued with myself about his, but I really can't say I beleive, but I can't say he's made up. Things have happened in my life to where I fell down and begged god for help, and things eventually got better, and then there's times when nothing happened. I don't know whether it was just complete luck that got me to where things were better or god. But hell, Idk.

Stupid fuck, where did you found that?

2:29 It is He Who hath created for you all things that are on earth; Then He turned to the heaven and made them into seven firmaments; and of all things He hath perfect knowledge.

79:27 What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (God) hath constructed it:

Christian, no. God, a possibility, but it might not be "your" God. That's all I really have to say, don't want to get into a huge religious flame war.

    The Existence of God

I believe God exists, just not the kind that people like Joel Osteen preach about... having a perfect life and all that crap. Nowaday christianity is in it all just for the money these days. The bigger the church gets the better it is, but that isnt true, its how many people are truely getting saved from that church. No offense to anyone that likes Joel, but I dont think anyone in that church or anyone that watches him will be saved. They try to make it so if you just say a prayer one time, you're automatically saved. Then the next day you can get back to your normal sinful life totally forgetting about God. Its sad what christianity has come to.

Well theres my point of view.

    The Existence of God

The bolded part is part of the reason I don't believe in him.

I also don't believe because there is no scientific evidence of his existence. He just couldn't of been 'there', and created the universe. If they find scientific evidence of his existing, then I'll believe, but until them, screw it.

Well, if you ever decide to look more into christianity, I suggest you listen to someone like Paul Washer.

    Goodluck.

There's some stuff that humanity never can prove,as i see it you want the scientic to show you a picture of god... and that's impossible.
