Haw pros make their money?

How do people with like 2b make money? What's the most profitable skill?

 

Merchanting makes the most money;
The most profitable skils are: Fletching, Fishing, Minning, Hunter, Wood Cutting, ect.

 

There used to be far better ways to make money in the past. Alot of them got their wealth back then. Staking, luring etc was good. Also rare items were alot cheaper. At x-mas 2004 santas where 500k, red masks 1m and blue phat was 75m.

Merching the G.E is also very good. Someone with around 500m to play with can easily make 20m per day whilst not even playing runescape.

EDIT: WOW!! In 14months the cracker went from being 100m upto 700m

 

green dragons at 100+ you can easely get 1mill+ every hour combined with merching u can train ure combat+make money

Merchanting is the most likely way to make that kind of money these days. Other slower ways to do it are by no lifing bosses such as corp, tds, arma, sara, etc. It's possible by doing runecrafting or other skills but it takes a LONG time.

250k every 15 minutes isn't realistic, its about 500-650k an hour. They make their money mostly merchanting and GWD, although some have just saved up their money over time.

It's already been proven to be 400k+ a hour. I am a lvl 123 with 99str/90atkk and i make no more then 500k a hour in a good run.

And yes if you're willing to film it don't hesitate to prove me wrong.

 

Most likely by merchanting, I don't see how you could make 2b just flat out skilling...

 

You are missing the two big money makers, Slayer and Runecrafting. Then there is also merchanting which is a really big money maker but i don't support merchanting.

 

Slayer, Runecrafting, Merchanting, and PKing

 

Merchanting, Slayer, Runecrafting, Any of these you could farm while doing them and make even more money.
Some still have there wealth from luring and staking
GE merchanting is a big money making way.

 

Well merchanting is the main way. I know someone who got 99 Runecrafting and then used that money to merchant, he has about 3B now. You need a lot of money before you start merchanting, though, so that's a downside.

Basically you avoid spending money, and as you skill your value just gradually goes up. While it's going up you also merch for gp. I easily made it to 600m off a year of playing just by avoiding buying useless stuff.

 

And these days, merchanting isn't for the faint of heart either. Lots of money to be made - and lost. Merch clans scam all merching noobs. Don't ever join one.

But the most profitable skills are slayer (amazing at high levels), farming (if you know how to do it right), hunter, and runecrafting.
