Runescape accounts & service safety
Buying services or accounts can be fun and useful, but you might want to take some precautions to ensure you don't get scammed.

Linked accounts
You can add Social Media and other type of accounts to your Runescape account. These accounts can then be used to log in to your Runescape account. Changing a password or even an account recovery does NOT unlink these. Whenever someone has had access to your account, you should check if there are any accounts linked.
You can do this by logging in on the main website, see spoiler below for a step-by-step guide.

Spoiler: Linking/unlinking accounts

Step 1: Click 'Linked Accounts'




Step2: Make sure Google, Apple and Facebook stage 'Link with'. It will state 'linked' if anything is linked. You can click 'linked' to remove it.




Step 3: Click 'Manage Steam' or 'Manage Amazon'. You might be asked to log in again.
You should see 'Link' at both Steam and Amazon. Again, if something is linked make sure to unlink it.
