Woot just doin' some slayer.

Did 181 Abyssal Demons - Didn't get much.
Next task was 150 Black Demons. Black Demons are always fairly boring task that doesn't reward with much. Maybe forever ago you could get a dragon medium helm or something, but now that elusive drop is hardly worth the odds of getting it. I mean, I would still enjoy getting one, just because I know I would have been lucky, but it certainty doesn't help with earning the money spent back.

Here's the picture of the loot I did manage from my Black Demon task. I managed to do them all in one trip. I was trying a new method where I bring some bunyips and when I have fairly high hp I don't protect prayer and I use piety instead, with super sets. When I start to lose a bunch of hp I will switch over to just using protect prayer while the Bunyip slowly restores my hp.

It works pretty good. It's surprising that I can do some decent tanking with piety while only wearing Proselyte Armour, Fury, Fire Cape, Dragon Boots, Unholy Book, Abyssal Whip and Dark Gloves. So with some Torag it would probably be a lot better for tanking while running piety and using a super set. The reason I used the Proselyte Armour instead is because I'm using prayer quite often and don't want to burn through pots insanely fast.

So anyways I figured I'd tell about the method I was doing in case someone wanted to try it out for something new.

So here's my current stats. I just came back a couple weeks ago after having quit for quite a while, about 8 months to a year. I'm not exactly sure how long I was gone. I've got pretty interested in the game again. I'm back to slaying, but I might do some other things inbetween. I'm actually getting pretty poor while slaying so I might have to stop to make money runecrafting or something

I'll post a picture of whatever people want or answer various questions, no big deal. I'm mainly posting because all the people I used to play with seem to not really play anymore. I don't really have anyone talk to about RS while playing, which can make playing pretty boring sometimes.

So feel free to add me up. I also have a Ventrillo server I'm trying to get people into and filling up. I have MSN and Aim, feel free to add me to either of those two if you like. You can randomly message me in game too, just sort of introduce yourself.

I don't cheat in anyway. I'm not interested in cheating. I'm not interested in sharing my account or anything else that would break the rules. Just looking for some people to chat with and trying to bring people together with a CC and Vent server.

I'll probably turn this into a blog too about my progress. If anyone has a suggestion of where to make a blog (Eg. Maybe I should just make one on tip.it or something and link it back over here).

So here's my stats of September 20th, 2009. I'm going to be raising slayer over the next bit. The new objective tab says I'm 62% to level 95. I'll just try and not think about how long it will take to get to 99.

Well for range I ended up camping Dust Devils for a bunch of levels when charms first came out. Stayed there with like 50k knives until they ran out I believe. Then I can't really remember how I did the rest, probably just ranging various things while training slayer.

For mage I alched a whole lot while I did my crafting I alched all the green bodies.

Heh yea that would be something to do. I really hate mining and skills that cost me a bunch of money, only because I don't have the money needed. Right now my goal is 99 slayer. I'll have to see how things go after that. I'll probably just try and get 99 slayer and 99 summoning and that will take quite a while.

It is pretty up there in the skill totals and what not, but fuck it really sucks after having quit for a year because it's like I'm so much lower rank than I was before. Before I took a break I was in the top 2000 I believe. I was slowly working my way into the 1000. This was before summoning had come out.

Now I just looked up and here is my stuff. I'm not as far as I once was. Now that I'm back playing it makes me regret having left because I would probably be close to maxing.

 

Ha yes it's completely legit. I honestly don't really like cheating. Some part of me probably dislikes it because I train my account up to where it is legit and then some people cheat and it kind of takes away from my achievements because there are more people at higher levels than their might be normally. But I also understand why they do it and what not and you know parts of me support the idea of different black market sections. I think people should be able to train others accounts to make money and I think it would be nice to be able to sell my account for some money if I quit. Anyways, I'm sorry about that little rant, I'm sure it will be pretty unpopular considering this is Sythe and all.

I just try to write a bit in every paragraph so there's something of substance to read and keep you guys interested rather than just posting random ass pictures.

So I was slaying the Aquanites for my second time ever and managed to get myself some decent loot. Even though the Black Demon trip didn't net me some amazing amount of gold it was a pretty good trip as far as Black Demons go.

I've been worrying I might have to stop slayer because I would end up completely broke with no money for cannon balls or pots. It seems that my trip to Aquanites might have extended my slaying a bit though. Here's the pics:
