    Middlemen!

Why do MM's charge so much? the average account sale is like 25$ AND MM'S are charging 5-15$, thats rediculus, and the only way to have a safe trade.

I have been scammed twice due to these crazy fee's people want to charge us.
Why cant you be more reasonable? it takes 5 minutes and it secures everything. You will have to deal with less scam reports, ect. saving more time.

Stop being greedy and lower your prices.

I just used inventor and his ad says 5$ flat fee, and he charged us 10$ for a 30$ trade. Its rediculus. Hire more MM's and do something about this please.

The demand for official middleman is endless; if they were free, most traders on here would try to contact them for every trade from their level 20 pure account swap to their 150m gold sale.

Thus, one reason for the high fees is to make the number of MM requests manageable. Another reason is how much effort and time they have to put into becoming an official; many of them do that work as an investment, and the high fees make the return worth it. Thirdly, it's what people are willing to pay for security. Finally, we do not set limits on the fees members charge for other services like account training - why should we restrict our OMM's? They are simply independent MM's who have been approved by the staff.

How is he pro at what he does?

He prevents chargebacks because he doesn't handle the money himself (which is what a middleman does).

Worst OMM ever, i've seen better apps that have been denied.

Wel,l inflation makes them potentially useless when the jack they prices up so high. And if they are independent why am i being referred by staff to use them? Its pressuring, and makes me feel wrong for not using them.

Endorsement by the forums should have some rules that follow, reasonable prices being one of them. I never said free, but reasonable.

Charging 33% of the trade's value is not a reasonable price.

There's so many god damn scammers on Sythe we have to use OMMs just to protect ourselves, but they charge ridiculous prices like that, so people don't use them and Sythe reputation keeps on going down down down.

OMM is not a staff position; like UE, it's just a rank. It's recognition that they have proven themselves trustworthy, and have the staff's confidence that they will remain so even for large trades. We use this system of Officials because there are many users who haven't been around for very long or who don't spend as much time on the site, and cannot as easily make the same judgments on who to trust as we, as staff, can.

There is no pressure to use them, although we certainly believe that it is safest to. It's supply and demand; if their prices are too high, they won't get requests, and they will have to lower their prices if they wish to continue MM'ing.

That's his flat fee. He MM's to make money, and to make a reasonable amount, he has to have a flat fee.

His flat fee is $5. I would happily pay that for a $30 trade.

Thats exactly the reason I'm starting to MM. Obviously no-one will pay me to MM since im just starting, but 5$ if more than enough for 3 minutes of work.... I got scammed 2 times because OMM are too expensive.

Well is there any solution to all this? maybe a under middle man category? maybe some middle men for lower end trades? that your not too sure about but think they may be able to handle it?

I've been mming for over a year to get my position and now have to pay for school.

You still haven't shown how I'm a terrible MM and spammed my place of business, IE this thread:

I've done more business in this weekend alone than you've done in your entire lives. (USAF/Nashy)

There's plenty of free legit middlemen out there, you just need to know what to look for.

Anyways, OMMs are independent from Staff, they are allowed to use whatever prices they want. As long as they don't break any of the rules, they're not doing anything wrong.
