Obama's Health Care Plan Yes or NO?

Anyone who has an opinion about it has to be somewhat moronic.

After all, it hasn't even really condensed yet to a form where the common man can make any sort of assertion.

 

I agree. Illegal aliens are not people, and should die from a lack of health care.

What part of the bill says that illegal aliens will be included in the health-care plan?

You guys can all quote Joe Wilosn in his "You lie" extravaganza, but did anyone listen to the full speech regarding this PRECISE matter?

 

The health care plan does not include illegal aliens, abortion funding. Or those other myths republicans are spreading around. I can't believe these myths are still around. Republicans get paid by insurance companies to attack the Health Care plan because they want to do whatever they want....

I don't really like Obama or any of his ideas. So, obviously I'm not for it.

 

I say no, I dont think its even possible for anything good to come out of politicians, its all a bunch of lies in my oppinion.

yes and no. no I would not like to see universal health care for everyone, no I would not like to make people pay to pay for their own privet health care. yes I would like to see health care reform. yes I would like to see a "safety net" for the people who can not afford the emergency room. yes I would like to see our tax dollars spend more wisely on health care that we all ready do. We spend the most on health care than any other country I'd like to see results.

 

Most of you miss the fact that the government is one of the reasons health care is so expensive. The ama licensing cartel keeps lower cost options from competing and they restrict the number of med school grads.

 

Well it goes both ways. Taiwan is a case study where the government has essentially ripped off the doctors and hospitals. The pay is still high enough to keep the job in demand, but low enough so that costs remain low.

Also, mal-practice isn't as big of an issue, and the people there don't take what the government gives them for granted - there is no dispute if the government refuses to pay.

A private enterprise keeps typically keeps efficiency higher but is not necessarily in favor of fair prices to the consumer. Unfortunately, the high entrance costs keep heath-care from entering a true free-market situation - that is, the amount of providers will always be limited and the price always in favor of such.

 

How can you make this poll when there isn't a definite plan in either house...?

 

You can't... No one is quite sure what it will pan out to be, and there are so many rumors its kinda worthless.

 

Any plan of Obama's I say no to. I'm sorry but he is the only president who I will ever hate, and he will be the downfall of America.

 

The whole illegal aliens thing bugs me. Why are people so ignorant?

1: That rumor is 150% speculation and was never mentioned by anybody to be true.
2: In Obama's press release two weeks ago (though I HIGHLY doubt any of the opposition actually watched it) he blatantly said that ILLEGAL ALIENS WON'T BE COVERED.
3: Use some freaking common sense. How can we give health care to people that AREN'T IN THE SYSTEM!? If they're not citizens they're not registered in any computers therefore they couldn't possibly receive health benefits, unless of course it was public health care that didn't require any sort of validation, and this isn't the case because private health care still exists so they'd still have to find out who you are.

As for the actual plan. It works flawlessly in so many other countries around the world that the only reason anyone's opposed to it is because they're determined to keep America as the "guiding light" for other countries, when many other countries do things better than we do.

 

This. It seems to me that a lot of the idiots you see marching down the street on TV is against anything that is common practice in other countries because the American way is always best and if you think otherwise you're a "commie".

 

I live 40 mins outside washington d.c. and My family and I attended a rally against obamas healthcare. Those people werent to happy. Its not the idea of shared medicine that I dislike its how obama handles it. the plan needs a ton of fine tuning. I also think where the hell is the money going to come from this do you guys really know how much 1 trillion dollars is
