    Driving Test
    Taking my third driving test tomorrow after school, can anyone tell me what happens if you fail three times in California? I am extremely nervous.

    Though I think I should have passed the second time, I got an automatic fail because I started turning my wheel while making a left in the middle of the intersection. I wasn't even moving the car.

    Damn about the 2nd try. Good luck man, 3rd times a charm. Idk what happens if you fail 3 times in cali. I got my license first try in georgia. Just relax and take it easy and you should pass. When you get nervous you do small stupid stuff that often leads to failing.

    *side note* 625th post! I iz apprentice :eek:

    Not sure if it's the same in Cali, but in MA if you fail 6 times you have to wait 6 months or something.
    Don't get too nervous, it's not hard!

    I think it used to be 3rd time you failed you had to wait 6 months in NY... But I'm not sure if thats right...

    That was a stupid thing to do, why would you turn your wheel before your make the turn? Not only would the turn be too wide, you put yourself at risk of a head-on collision if you ever get rear ended.

    Also, if you're just taking your behind-the-wheel test, you should already know what happens if you fail three times, the material should be fresh in your head. Anyways, if you fail the behind-the-wheel test 3 times, you need to retake the written test.

    If you fail twice in NJ you have to wait 6 months. Practice more if you need it. Don't humor your driving instructor.

    In New York you get two road tests. If you fail twice, you have to PAY for every extra road test...

    I passed on my first test but missed 25 points. (30 points and you fail...)

    15 Points:
    - Turning at an intersection and not staying in my lane. TOTALLY not fair since she was like, turn here and parallel park behind this car WHICH WAS 15 FT FROM THE INTERSECTION... Apparently I was supposed to stay in my line and smash into it.

    10 Points:
    - Not being cautious enough at a stop sign/intersection or some nonsense.

    Silly New York...

    Not to brag or anything but I only got docked 6 points out of 31 :3

    I'm not really sure about Cali, but I know in Michigan you can take it as many times as you need.
