Step One.​

Get an ordinary Ipod Headphones set, Example:

Step Two.​

Make sure that they are not broken or damaged in any way. Plug the end of the headphones in your Microphone socket of your computer.

(Picture is showing putting into headphone socket. Don't do that)

Be sure to have speakers on your computer or you won't hear anyone.

Step Three.​

Once you have plugged it in. (Test it on ventrilo) Press your bind key and speak clearly asking if anyone can hear you. (If no one reply's its not working and you have the wrong headphones.

If it is working then Congratulations. You just used headphones as a microphone.

If you want to know how to turn people up in vent or Turn yourself up, Then PM me or come on vent.

Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to state that you need the "Ipod earphones w/MIC" and not "regular Ipod earphones"

 

Cool concept, didn't think this was possible. Now if only it worked on the itouch.

You don't.. You're not understanding that the iPod headphones plugged into your headphone jack actually acts as a seperate microphone.
