    Apparently Paypal is FINALLY working on preventing chargebacks for us!

    They're not working on preventing fraud and chargebacks, that's what they say when people question why they'd need to verify a US bank account. Paypal has always been working on making more profit to themselves, and could care less a fuck about their consumers and sellers. They know that the sellers rely on PayPal to process payments for them, but unfortunately any intangible product can never be fought.

    Paypal is just doing what they can to rip is off slowly. For instance, there is no longer a difference in fees from personal and business accounts. There are now always transaction fees for all transaction which is not under the 'personal' category. They also hide the fees from the main page so the sellers do not notice. In order to see fees, they must view the specific transaction details.

    Sorry for going off topic but PayPal is just an under-regulated monopoly for online payment gateways / processors.

    I do like them for ebay buys and sells. Otherwise for untangible goods. No Thanks.
