This in no way prevents people from charging back.

Making a claim still is, and always will be, a simple phone call away.

This will also additionally terminate Claim & Cancel. According to the ToS, Claim & Cancel is considered fraud, and abuse of the dispute system. I seriously hope they start protecting us better. Usfine loses over a $2000 each month due to charge backs.

Claim and cancel isn't working for me.

I don't believe it works anymore.

With small trades I think paypal is great. But with big trades I don't accept CC payments. All they have to do is call up their credit card company and say they didn't receive the items, the item wasn't described properly, or it was a stolen credit card.

You're totally right and I agree fully. I try not to do trades above $15 myself via paypal.

You're pretty stupid if you expect to do business with a verified paypal in a non legit way..

If you have problems it makes things hard for yourself.

This is great. As a business owner though, you have to see that Paypal didn't expect people to abuse the charge back. Most Paypal users are using Paypal for a good cause, they buy something, they are done. The 1% of little kids, who shouldn't have a Paypal account to begin with, are what has caused so much trouble. It may seem like an easy fix, but Paypal has to make it perfect.

I'm not saying I know the answer but that has happened to my friends, this can be caused by a few reasons, it has happened to my friend cAMBO iZ YuMMy

I have a prepaid CC that I used the other day, I'm not verified or any thing -shrugs- idk, hope your right though.

But on the flip side of it, scammers will be able to scam money now perhaps with out you getting it back if getting scammed.

They have always required this for certain US accounts. They can still claim back as well, so why are you so happy?

Learn how to actually use paypal then you won't get charged back on.

The more people find out about the more paypal will do to fix the issues. Just like the gift payment thing.
