Should i go Tank? Or melee?

Ok so at the moment i have a range/D claw pure. I do have dragon claws (i have 42M all together) My stats are:

60 attack
74 strength
1 defence
44 prayer
83 range
75 Hp

Im wondering if i should get maybe 20 defence? For Corrupt morrigans armour, or get 40 defence and be a kind of tank? Or keep 1 defence. Thanks

From personal experience I would tell you to keep the 1 defense, you can always raise it if you really want to, however, you cannot lower it back. Hold onto 1 def as long as you can and when you have fully thought about both, then consider the change

If you don't like it, raise it to 20 or 40 defense.

 

Stay one defense for a while, and continue to train range and strength and try out different combo's. From personal experience, I raised defense on my account with 60/99/1 to a zerker, and regretted it fully. Keep the one defense for as long as you can, and then slowly raise it if you must. Before you do, try out a lot of different combinations. I highly regret not doing as much as I could have when I had one defense.
