When was the last time your life changed drastically?

It all started about 2 days ago when I went to go hang out with one of my friends. He stated that he was going out with some of his friends tonight and they were going to an elementary school to get high (don't ask) and wanted to know if I wanted to come along. I replied with a yes and we waited for his two friends to come pick us up. Little did I know that one of his friends was a girl that I've met before, hung out with and was really attracted to. The other, was a girl that my friend liked but she was moving to the states in a week. We were both happy to see each other, ever since we met I felt as if she had some sort of feelings towards me as well. So the day went on, we actually went to an elementary school in the evening and got high. Long story short, we went back to my friends house, the girls wanted to watch some porn movie that had all lesbians making out and having sex, it was a fun night. I had never thought I'd meet this girl again and as I thought I lost all feelings for her they all suddenly came back to me. My friend has known these two girls since kindergarden and believes that this girl likes me as more then a friend as well. So days go by and it's now saturday.

Happy to know that I'm going paintballing with her this week coming up (shes never went paintballing before ) and I'll probably ask her out then. Anyways, like I stated saturday has come (today) and I was pretty happy. That was until bad news came. Not to make this any longer then it is I'm going to just put this short; my sister dropped out of university 2 years ago, wasted $10k of my parents money, never went back to university and is in an apartment barely surviving to pay the rent and food with a man that's at least 10 years older then her. Anyways, it had been 4 months since we've heard from her and my father came into my room to let me know that she's called. I asked him what she said and he stated to me with his eyes watery that she was pregnant. At that point everything went downhill. My sister has officially fucked her life over, just because she doesn't want to abide by some simple rules if she was still living with our parents. Instead she decides to move into an apartment with a guy thats 10 years older then her, already had a kid with a different women before and is now going to have a kid with my sister. Congratulations? I think not, she can barely support herself and now she'll have to support a child. Before judging my parents just an fyi they've recommended her to move back several times but as stupid as she is, shes denied that offer several times.

I know this is long and probably boring for you but it just fascinates me how life can be changed so fast and sudden before our very own eyes. Now it's your turn, tell me the last time something drastically has changed your life.

I would be thankful though that there is nothing that directly happened to you. I don't mean to forget about your sister. But what can you do? Your parents told her to come back and she insisted on NOT to. Now she is pregnant because she didn't even want to tell you guys about what's happening with her life...

I know it's life... it's just something I would never expect to happen in our family because we always see this happening to others =/. Life sucks tbh.

Anyways, the last time my life changed, It was when I met this girl last year. I really liked (actually, I liked her since 5th grade ) but anyways, she made me a lot more social than I was. I was already pretty social and was friends with everyone, but I would never go out any places to parties or such. Then she would go to parties and I wanted to see her and talk to her so I would go to parties and I just wound up hanging out with more people and going to parties and such.

To make a long story short, I don't like her anymore but we are still really good friends, I am a lot more social now, I go more places like parties and different friends houses and people are always over at my house.

 

Getting suspended from a new school on Thursday... Bastard basketball coach was a racist.

 

Thursday evening.

 

April 4, 2009. a girl i knew ran in front of a train.

 

Moved two hours away from home, started university.

 

My dad had a kid when he was 16 years old, my half-brother. I haven't really seen him since I was an infant, and barely remember him, but just recently we found out that he is living in our city (we had no clue). Long story short, he's a father of two at age 27, just found out that I'm an uncle and have been since 16 years old (now 18).

Pretty life changing.

 

Probably moving to Peru

I'm pretty sure Summer Saturday School was one. And not 100% sure, but i'm pretty sure that Watching both seasons of Death Note did a number on me also.

The last drastic change for me was actually exactly 1 year ago from today.
Idk if any of you remember Hurricane Ike, but it devastated the SE Texas coast. I lived on Bolivar Peninsula (the town that got a direct hit), and I lost everything. Our entire town was literally flattened with almost no homes left standing except for a few. And this was a town with tons and tons of homes.
I visited my old street yesterday and it is still desolate, untouched =/.

I now live in a new town and go to a new school which is a drastic change for me.

 

The drastic change for me was when a really good friend of mine drowned trying to save his father who was drowning and dying of a heart attack.
