How to pierce your ear

Let's say your a girl/guy who wants a piercing but your parents won't let you get one, or don't have time to take you to get one or whatever, here is how to pierce your own.

First off make sure you have a friend who can buy earrings for you as a needle in your ear 24/7 is gross.

Next thing to do is buy a pack of needles in any form. Sewing needles, safety pins, anything in that area is fine. DON'T use a nail, a thumbtack, or anything of that nature.

After that numb your ear down with ice pressed on both sided until you can just about not feel your ear.


Then take something solid, yet soft, such as a lemon or lime and place it behind your ear.


Make a mark in the center of your ear where you want to pierce and slowly shove the needle threw your ear until it goes into the lemon. Then take the needle out and place in the earring.

Tips:
Always clean everything before you use it including your ear.
Buy some salt water solution or go to the beach.
Use neosporin on your ear after piercing it.
Rotate the earring throughout the day to keep the skin from healing on it.

Unsterile needles can cause massive infections in the piercing site that could cause major damage and swelling. Many people use a lighter to steralise the needle aswell. The heat kills all bacteria

idk if this is that important or not, but is it alright to get lemon juice in the new cut in your ear? cause if u pierce the lemon and then pull the needle through your ear the juice will get inside. other than that, nice guide. similar to what my sis has been doing but she doesn't use ice cause she likes watching her guy friends in pain... lol

 

Because a lemon won't make it fucking sting or anything. Jesus christ. I'm getting my nose pierced next week at a piercing parlour (thank fuck).

 

Why a lemon? And truly, while I respect that you took the time to write a guide, a better guide would be "go to a parlor" because truly, that's the smartest, easiest, and least blood-gushing thing you can do.

 

Thers no blood really and the lemon helps keep the ear from getting infected and many people don't want to pay the parlor fees. I know people who peirce there bellybuttons eye brows noses etc all on there own.

 

I got my lip pierced at a piercing parlor. And then I went to pierce my eyebrow myself and I hit a nerve and my face started uncontrollably twitching. Piercing yourself is dangerous but I pierced my own ear because it doesn't hurt as bad and there's no risk. Good guide. 7/10

 

Ya you can mess up alot of times.

 

You might want to include the risks and dangers of unsterile needles.

 

I wouldn't even recommend this to anyone due to the all the factors which you would have to account for; ex. piercing in the correct location, sterile piercing device, etc. It's a foolish thing to do, on the whole.
