Should I Get Summoning On My F2p Pure???

Well I figured, why not? It'd help heaps in training certain things + im a F2p pker, with no intentions of going members pking, i'd make another account if i wanted too..

Also, i've never done summoning before and im really interested in it, and reallllllll keen to have a pet

So yeah, tell me your thoughts heres my stats

 

I don't see why not, it would help out loads in training.. plus it won't even show up in f2p. So i'd say go for it.

Even if he does go to p2p, it makes no difference. its a win win situation here. Go for it.
In pvp, if you have summoning, you get your combat + whatever combat levels summoning has given you, for example:
104 + 9
So, in a non pvp world you would be 113 combat, but in a pvp world you are still 104.
So it dosen't effect you either way.

 

i dont see why now, if you dont use a summoning scroll in pvp it wont affect your combat level

 

If it's a f2p pure, then go for it. It doesn't make a difference. It will be a fun way to train your strength while you get summon/slayer exp.

 

even tho summoning does not affect your combat in combat style worlds. i wouldnt get it.. it still ruins combat imo, such as, in normal worlds, and you go duel, higher levels fight you and you will get owned. anywho, since its f2p pure and your account, its all your decision.

 

In the duel arena your level is listed same as pvp (like (104+9)) so that wouldn't really make a difference

Summoning is extremely useful. i don't really understand why jagex made it affect your combat level, but yes you should defiantly get it.

 

What's going to happen when you want to make it a p2p pure? Because, everybody has urges at one time and if they give in, they might regret it.

 

@ KIABIN - tbh nothing happens. His combat will show up as (example) 70 + 4, and unless he carries a pouch or summoning item it will stay as 70+4, making him technically level 70. The only thing that will be messed up is the way that it looks.. which is no big deal compared to how much of an exp boost he'll get training with a familiar.

 

The only problem is when you train in p2p, people will think u suck... It ruins your combat level. It doesn't really matter at all, but tbh i would rather not have like 5 extra levels for summoning even though they don't mean anything in pking worlds.

I am not turning into a members pker, full stop.
I dont care if people call me a 'noob pure' for using summoning whilst training, i just flat out dont care.
I ended up getting it, still raising it now.. but so far it has been very useful, i reccommend it to all f2p pures.
