Hacked Acc :|

Account got hacked, and I answered every single retrieval thing asked of me but one, and they won't give me the account back. I've appealed 8+ times now and they just won't give it to me. I find that sad on Jagex's part.

Anybody else have similar experiences? I just got Fire Cape on it too :|

What I really don't understand is how it got hacked, I ran a bunch of different scans, no keylogger. None of my other accounts with the same pass were hacked, nothing...

 

I have the exact problem dude, I had this account, and somehow some kid hackes me, then sometimes locks the account, and it was made in like january of 2006 and freakin jagex says i dont have enough creation details.. just coz i dont know my ip address.... and the only thing thats possible to do is do a billing query saying your situation, then either they will unlock your account or make it easier to recover, trust me it works. It would work for me now, but I just cbf doing it.

Are you original owner? If you are it shouldn't be hard at all to get it back lol

 

I have had this problem... I am the original owner of an account that has never been member. I told them it was 4+ years old, all the previous passwords (4+ years old) all the locations (addresses) i have played on over the past 4 years, the recover information it used to have... still locked.

 

Same thing happened to me @ Us Of A Hero. I tried appealing probably 10 or more times and all were denied, then I waited a few weeks and tried again and it worked.

Whoever else is trying to recover the account probably just needs to give up then Jagex will unlock it for you.

Well on the bright side, whoever got the account just got 15mil worth of a failed merch, aka now junk, and nothing else worthwhile aside from a decently leveled character and a fire cape.

I'll try sending in a billing query though. If it doesn't work out I guess I'll have to make my F2P pure P2P and go from there -.-

EDIT: How do I send in a billing query? It's asking me to log in in order to do so when I click submit a billing query on the site. Can't really do that with a hacked account

My main either got hacked or I just forgot the pass but I recovered it... But don't do 8+ appeals because they give a warning saying it will take much longer.

 

If you have no virus or anything, someone close to you probably knew the password. Be careful the way you do and describe things, people sometimes access information and use it against you.

 

Yeah there was no virus, I ran several virus, ad-ware, spyware, and rootkit scans, nothing out of the ordinary.

I guess I just find it weird that none of my other stuff was hacked.
