Why you think they're violating Sythe rules: Selling artwork that is not theirs or has been traced.

Was giving pints the benefit of the doubt with most pieces and was certainly interested in seeing
him grow. However fundamentally speaking most of his pieces don't add up in terms of style, color theory, shading etc.

I'll be providing an image to showcase the acts of plagiarism.


Quite unfortunate, just wanted to make this report as people are spending their money on it.
I'm not sure how he works behind the scenes with the clients and have not bothered to dig into it any further. Bottom line is that the artwork he's showcasing and selling has been traced or taken from sites such as envato.

I'm sure there are moderators with design knowledge who can confirm.
If needed I can even link the original artwork that was traced over.

Firstly why wouldnt you just messege me privatley about this matter? If you werent jealous or coming from a bad place I honestly dont see why you would just messege me.


I fully admit to having traced designs and using refernces in the past but i simply dont just copy and paste (something which is all over the graphics market place). I however have grown as an artist and I urge any future illustrators to trace and use as many references as possible as there is completley no shame in it. I am a respected member in the RS art community and have shared my work without any quarms.

Im sorry if I have offended you or dissapointed you Wave - but im sorry to say you are showing some insecurities. As a sythe community we learn and grow together and you are simply trying to make me a victim.


If i have offended anyone else please remove all my posts and remove my user from sythe (something i dont use anymore for comissions).


Also i will be saving un edited time lapse of future illustrations in the future

Your understanding of anatomy doesn't shift extremely with every piece.
I could go on and on about it. You think it's completely fine to trace other people's work and make a profit off it.
There's no argument in me having to DM you personally about this.
You don't deserve that to begin with, you have no respect for artists or the time and effort they put in so why would I provide you with respect?

For some odd reason you're playing the victim card here and trying to shift the blame on me.
Aswell with the snarky little remarks on the sythe discord and the way you try to hide the conversation by posting your older work showcases how you truly are.
Quite a fake and insecure response if I do say so myself, pints.

Take the hit? What does that even mean? I have literally told you wave I have traced and used references as I am still learning. You are incredibly malicious and I find it amusing how you have called me out.

This definitely stems from jealously. Can a mod please speak with me as I literally have no idea what I can or must do.

I respect artists - I just don’t respect your toxic behaviour - it’s malicious

Would proof of sales be important? I would also like to see that too as I sure as hell havent sold all those designs.

Still kind of upsetting that im getting shames for tracing. Theres literally no shame in it - i hope you can see how malicious this whole post is.

So much of his stuff look so off as they're mashed up

The head and claws look no where similar in style or work.

How much work in his shop thread is original work? Is there more original work in the thread than work taken from online?
The moment I call him out for plagiarism his anatomy skill goes from this:

For example: the arm circled red is traced I assume and then the arm circled with green is his added work.



Then with his latest illustration, a drop in anatomy.
The circled arm doesn't look like it has a bone.


If there's anything else feel free to let me know.

 

Critising anatomy still doesnt prove that I have sold all of them illustrations.

Also like i said there is no shame in tracing and using referendes (you literally must be the only artist who never has) - and if you scroll up and like i replied in the sythe discord i have not denied tracing.

This report shows your true colors man, really dissapointing. Your literally the only one who cares. I guess you see me as competition though so you want to get me out of sythe - which is fine.

Also yes my designs arent perfect - i will admit that. But hell im proud of them - i only started drawing in October since i got my ipad.

After discussion, we will be issuing @Apex3572 a TWC he can dispute after 30-days for the following reasons:

You advertise custom drawings but the examples shown here are trace-overs with a little twist. This is essentially plagiarism but not enough to warrant a 1-month ban. The avatars and images I am seeing are not actually custom and this is in a sense, false advertisement.

Your current practice is deceiving considering people are going to you for custom illustration and receiving unauthentic work (or unauthentic work is being advertised as your examples). In your server you state 'All content is produced by me and cannot be resold' but you rely heavily on other peoples work and claim it as "custom" such as the Black Panther avatar which is pretty much an identical copy. This is not ok and will be dealt with more harshly next time if it continues.

TLDR: TWC you can dispute after 30 days. But I will not be banning you for 1-month as is the usual for plagiarism. This will serve as a warning instead.
