The Existence of God

'God' exists.
Our modern perception of what god is, is the actual illusion.

 

I feel I have said quite a bit, weather it was relevant or not may be the issue though
I merely meant to say 'God' is not a big white man with long hair sitting in the clouds who put us here to tell him how great he/she/it is.

I like how you provide only verses that seems scientifically proven. There are contradictions in the Koran. The Koran says itself that there shall be no interpretations and shall be taken literally. Yet there are various interpretations that are made by apologetic people to make these verses sound as science proves the heavens and God.

The Koran is also full of vile and unethical things. Mostly against women and animals. I was astounded to find out that clerics can forgive you for having sex with an animal if you pay. It seems that the English translation along with other translations of the Koran is considered heresy. Theres a purpose its only in Arabic apparently? It may have nothing to do God's existence but it shows how the Koran is flawed and how the interpretations are just there to try proving the Koran and God scientifically.

As to Gods existence.."Our ignorance is God; what we know is science."

i dont look at evolution and say GAH how can we be related to monkeys coz of stones... no i dont say that coz im not ignorant i read into the theory of us and primates having a common ancestor and yet still i do not care to slander....

Im talking about the original versions. There interpretations for it. Now it has changed due to various modern day. No im not insulting. Im stating what was originally there. The animal thing was included because a few students a year back made some research on religions and that popped up on it. Ill try getting the original sources.

Those videos seem to be pure stories of how they changed their beliefs. I watched part of one and I see how you think it might help your argument.. But I could care less of it.

God is an illusion created as a mirror image of the human personality. From birth we've had parental figures to guide us. So, despite age, we have an inherent feeling that a parent figure exists to punish, to reward, and to teach since we were raised in this manner.

This is God. Whether or not he exists, physically, is besides the point and scientifically impossible to prove.

 

they arent pure stories and like the rest of my arguments are supported with solid evidence.

Human have discuss this topic since their creation and none have been able to prove it or disprove. I'm a muslim myself and i believe in Allah, alot of the people in this topic just post without thinking. Religion ain't just about hell-heaven-hell-heaven it's alot more.

I don't know whether or not there are contradictions in Islam and frankly I don't really care. Without any evidence it's all just a big fairy tale.

Due to my lack of knowledge you need to enlighten me on the differences between the Bible and the Quran. The Bible is man-made, so why shouldn't the Quran be?

ok the quran has no contradictions you can try to find 1 ill clear it up for u just dont say IT HAS CONTRADICTIONS without giving the verse number etc. alot of ppl claim that the quran has condratictions when infact that verse does not exsist and they only say it to slander.
back to the bibles contradictions:
2nd book of kings chapter 8:V.26 states Ahezia was 22 years old when he began to reign.
2nd book of chronicles chapter 22:V.2 states that Ahezia was 42 years old when he began to reign...
was he 22 years old or was he 42 years old? mafs errur
2nd book of chronicles chapter 22:V.20 the father of ahezia died at the age of 40 and ahezia was 42 how is the son 2 years older than the father?scientific errur

therefore the bible is not perfect and cannot be the word of God.
I HATE making any creationist religion look bad coz in many ways it makes me look like an atheist or superiorist in favour of my religion to them :/ but i just answer questions and if a contradiction in the Quran which was full proof appeared trust me id be the FIRST to post it.

i provide full mathematical proof and this is not to offend any christians i provide the verse and the book just as if u find 'contradictions' in the Quran it would be useless if you did not give me the book chapter and verse number.

Let me remind you that the Qur&#8217;an is not a book of Science, &#8216;S-C-I-E-N-C-E&#8217; but a book of Signs &#8216;S-I-G-N-S&#8217; i.e. a book of ayaats. The Qur&#8217;an contains more than 6,000 ayaats, i.e. &#8216;signs&#8217;, out of which more than a thousand speak about Science. I am not trying to prove that the Qur&#8217;an is the word of God using scientific knowledge as a yard stick because any yardstick is supposed to be more superior than what is being checked or verified. For us Muslims the Qur&#8217;an is the Furqan i.e. criteria to judge right from wrong and the ultimate yardstick which is more superior to scientific knowledge.

But for an educated man who is an atheist, scientific knowledge is the ultimate test which he believes in. We do know that science many a times takes &#8216;U&#8217; turns, therefore I have restricted the examples only to scientific facts which have sufficient proof and evidence and not scientific theories based on assumptions. Using the ultimate yardstick of the atheist, I am trying to prove to him that the Qur&#8217;an is the word of God and it contains the scientific knowledge which is his yardstick which was discovered recently, while the Qur&#8217;an was revealed 1400 years ago. At the end of the discussion, we both come to the same conclusion that God though superior to science, is not incompatible with it.
