WoW or RS?

WoW is ftw and much better then rs.

 

I'd pick RS. I really enjoy the simplicity of RS. WoW looks really complex imo. Also WoW sucks the life out of anyone who plays it..my uncle plays 8-10 hours a day . Two years passed, and hes still hooked.

 

Wow isn't complex at all you can get the jist of it down in a day, and as for addiction yeah its addictive but so is RS, so is most every other MMORPG.

 

tried playing WoW and just got annoyed and went and played rs, im sure if i put the time in WoW would be fun but i only play when ive got some spare time, which is never at the moment unfortunately. Oh and rs graphics have improved a lot recently.

 

i just played my free trial. it seems very hard but it seems interesting.

 

anyone who needs help, ill help the game, the game is fun, call me when you rs players step up to a real game. rofl.

The reason why so many rs players find WoW hard when they try is is because they usually have no experiences of the stereotypical mmo. Runescape is unlike almost every mmo out there which makes its good in some ways but makes it god awful to most people who have played proper mmos.

ok lets take a comparison on the two games.

graphics: wow- fully 3d with high detail in terrain and Armour.
rs- looks like most of the objects were drawn in paint... but we still have to remember that is is written in java and is quite amazingly detailed for a java game.

gameplay: well here its all about what you like.
wow- vast amount of areas.quests,pvp areas and a very very good pvp/combat system which is all key bind customizable to play the way you want.

rs- a good variety of events/mini-games but as with everything in rs its all point and click with no customization for controls and gets very repetitive.

price: wow- i pay £18 for 60 days but you can get it for less.
rs- 30 days is around £3.50 i believe?

community: wow- huge forum community+guilds(clans for the rs players) that are far more helpful than clans as they way they work just makes it so much easier to communicate.

rs- the forum is pretty big but is full of whiny kids... clans are ok but the actual clan system is a shambles.

overview: its all down to peoples taste but apart form the price difference wow is logically better in almost every way but as we have seen logical decisions isn't how people decide what they like.

 

i honestly like all those points, but which do u prefer, WoW or RS?

I know some people cant pay 15$ a Month but;

If you want too a play a real-game that IS FUN (I Guarentee IT 100%) At end-game content.

Runescape is:Over,over,over again. (More boring then Pong).

PS: To all the people who think all WoW-Players play 13 Hours a Day-It isn't true you would be surprised at how many Social People play WoW.

I like them both and that's why my post is totally unbiased in the fact i took the facts and not opinions. I have to say i rarely play either as collage and my band take up almost all of my time and i am glad for it as im not playing games like these anymore and not wasting my time..

but yeah both are good in different ways.

I thin WoW is superior to RuneScape in all aspects but the gameplay - WoW is better for hardcorers but not for amateurs. It costs you much to unlock a feature because you must level 10+ levels for every good feature.

That still looks like complete shit. Seriously Worldofwarcraft doesn't require you too drain your soul too the game like Runeshit. It took JaGeX 10 years..? Too update there bot dection- system. And another 13 years too update there Shit-Graphics..And they still are shit seriously If you aren't blind.
Also most Rune-idoits try WoW- And it's too complicated for there brain. You can play 2 Hours a day And still get ALOT acomplished,It's way more interesting then grinding your fingers away Clicking trees.
Seriously learn your shit.
