Hey,I'm a little mad right now, as it seems as mods can't get infracted.

I reported Megamatt, for saying 'lololol'.

Chase responds to me as this:

That's not spam, the OP was a ban evader, and he was simply posting that, and locking the thread. Plus, he's a moderator >_>


Okay, even if the seller was a ban evader, there's no need to say 'lololol'? What's the need to post that.. ? Now he says, 'He's a moderator' what does that matter? . .. . is he saying they can't be reported? or what.

Idk if mods are allowed to spam but I don't hear of any of them getting infractions for spamming. Flaming, they might get in some trouble for...

 

It's easier to lock a thread if you reply to it. Nonetheless I'll delete his post along with a couple others(and yes, most moderators just delete posts without infracting).

Mods can be infracted, but it's uncommon. I won't pretend that it's a perfectly fair system, but they're not as expendable as the average user; with everything they do for the site, we can't afford to ban our mods for two weeks over a bit of spam. Anyway, as it is their job to enforce the rule, reminding them what those rules are through infractions seems a bit redundant.

If you do see a mod that's spamming excessively and setting a bad example, then let one of the admins know, and we will decide if action needs to be taken.

In this case, it was a harmless post, and though not as artfully articulate as you seem to expect, it had a point.
