My tattoo in the making!

+1 to the goal of 30 pc.

 

Eh I don't really like it. It's too big and awkward, and it just doesn't look right. But hey, if you like it it's all good.

I like that alot, its bizarre and unique, How long it take them to get the outline done? Anddd I see you have another tattoo on your left arm. . .Have any pics of that =)?

I don't think it will come out good. Without the background color, (not sure if your planning on getting backgroud color) I don't think it would look all that good.

Oh yea color is definitely going to be added (red, light sky blue, some dark blues, probably a little purple etc. . .) I''m gonna let the artist role with it, Ive seen his work and I feel if I give him some lead way he could do some pretty badass things that I never would have thought of....that's more of an outline than a finished product.

Edit: that's another reason why I posted, I know that sythe member's at times can be unforgiving. With that comes pure honesty, or just malice if the member is that rotten =p

 

Pretty sweet bro. I'm not a big fan of tattoos but as far as they go, that's not a bad design.
I'm curious - what do you do during the 5-6 hour session? Talk to the tattooist? Read? And how much are you paying for the whole thing?

 

I am also wondering the cost..a small tattoo cost 50$ flat around here..so i can't imagine the cost of that, haha.

 

Basically just bullshitted with the tattoo artist haha. Some random shit that I remember us talking about

- How I'm never gonna be able to sit in the chair for 6 hours and how surprised he'll be since its my first tattoo

- There was another tattoo artist there and he was telling me how he has this chick that's coming in for an appointment with him to finish her tattoo, they're Dtf status. She came in like 3 hours later and I was having trouble not to laugh because I was able to put a face to the stories he told me. Making innuendos and all that good shit. That was a good time hahaa.

- My buddy was there with me for a good 4 hours so we just chilled.

- He was telling me stories of other people that came in for first tattoo's

- He asked me how the army was because he saw my dog tags.

- Parties

- His girl friend, and stories about his ex-girlfriend

- Just random shit really.

- Sometimes we didn't talk because he wanted to concentrate on the really detailed parts like the writing ( can't really see it in the picture )

- I said "wow that area is alot more sensitive than I thought it would be. The little part he did close to my nipple was painful, it felt like he was right on top of it haha. Other than that though the pain is totally bearable and not how people make it out to be, its more of an annoying pain then anything. Then again people have different pain tollerances

- Asked him how long he's been tattooing etc. . .

- Text'ed my friends, called some of them wile he was doing it.

Anddd to answer your final question, not too sure on how much its gonna be at the end because it's about 80 bucks an hour, and it's not finished until I say its good (not try to sound bossy, but that's just how it is.)

probably like another 7-8 hours total need to be done.

Not too sure actually, he told me he was figuring about 7 to 8 more hours of chair time. Not including breaks, they didn't charge me per hour for the break time. So in essence I was really there for about 7 hours that day. We took like 15 minute breaks here and there.

 

how did you even think of wanting that? in my opinion you weird, whateverz you want though man, good luck in the next half.

haha, I don't even know =). I'm just odd I guess, although I've seen some pretty weird tattoo's. Mine is mild compaired to some of them! =)

Army sign on bonus ftw. . .I take that back, 15 grand to sign my life away for 3 years. . .I still lose haha. And what do you mean by waste?!?!? >_<

It looks great so far. I can't wait to see what it looks like in the end. I like that you actually thought it out and didn't just get a random tattoo. I'm thinking about getting one, but don't know what and I don't want to get one just to have one.

One thing I don't understand though, is why do people always get things written with their tattoos in different languages? Are you like, from whatever language that is or something?
