How much OSRS is bought/sold per day/week/month?

Does anyone have an idea how much OSRS GP the market buys/sells per day? Even any informed estimates? There's a number of large players in the gold market here, and then with all of the gold sites, I'd imagine it's a lot, but I have no idea where to start in figuring out a fairly accurate amount.

You think it's billions, trillions, etc?

 

I'd say EASILY 500b+ per day

Hackers
Botters
Businesses owners (GP Sellers, GP swappers, Account sellers, Account services, Name sellers etc etc..)
And then you have the facebook flippers buying that same gp again from chineses to resell on facebook etc etc.


Wouldn't be surprised if it was actually 1 tril+ per day to be honest.

A lot of the most botted items are also the most traded items, so I think botters alone are trading 250b+ a day.

Yeh rates on FB are actually very high aswell since MANY people don't trust rs gold websites. So they just go with actual *Real* people who are trusted on certain groups etc

 

well damn I never knew that lol and yeah I can imagine rates are a good bit higher if they dont venture out to gold sites or here and such. Are they like irl groups or like in game clans?

Would be impossible to determine something that is somewhat accurate. I'd imagine it's north of 1T. If not, probably close.

FB groups, definitely something to check out. Tbh, of all the estimates here, I would have thought that it was waaaay less. If that's the case, the numbers for osrs/rs3 populations is probably really around the 2-3M mark like the blogs say.
