No its not a pure. Try googleing the word Pure, 70 defence is IMPURE. If you mix gold and silver it aint pure silver anymore, right? -.-

whether or not you think 70 defence should be considered "Pure" or not, you CANNOT deny that barrows "Pkers" are a Popular type of pker (far more effective AND utilizable than a 1-20 def pure) and people desire it... So as long as PvP enthusiast desire anything with a high defence as a presentable "pker", they will be put in the "pure" section of the forum.

Not to mention, Someone with at least 70 defense and prayer, can actually max hit.. UNLIKE 1-20 def pures. Piety > Ultimate str

 

i agree there should be guidlines as to what a main and a pure is.
