    Immortality.

You are going to get tired of living. Eventually someone is going to notice that you have been alive for quite some time.

Sometimes it hurts to live. As you get older, become a veggie and can't move. You will want to die. The pain in your bones. The different diseases taking toll on you but you still won't die. After a while, you are going to want to die.

    Even then you can't.

    Immortality.

What need would there be to get tired when there's always something to do?

So? There isn't anything they could do about it. This isn't Twilight, and being immortal doesn't come with having to hide it.

Personally, I was writing from the assumption that you don't get old. Some would argue that there is a difference between immortality and ageless, but personally, I think it'd all be in the same box.

Personally I would take it, then i wouldn't have to worry about after life. But as I am a muslim, it says in the Quran that there is better things beyond our imagination in the next life.

Depends, would I still be alive when the sun has expanded to the point of covering planet earth?

I wouldn't take immortality, for the simple reason I would have to see all my friends and family die around me.

You'd still have the ability to do that while immortal...

    Immortality.

I mean immortality as the inability to die, from anything. Though, pain and nerve endings and all human anatomy still exists.

    Immortality.

Thats assuming ur the only one to be immortal...
and even if u are immortal lets see what happens.
u fall in love the gal dies ur haunted with her memory forever (assuming ur a guy sorry ny girls).
fair enuf u live amongst other humans its great u can swim with sharks and not die do another take of the bungi jump wer u jump into a volcano its NICE.
n then the imminent happens and the earth destroys itself or the sun grows to close or black hole lets just assume this happens.
YOU cant die so ur forever sittin on a space rock tryin to score with alien chicks...
now id say what if EVERY1 was immortal but that would flaw ur very own argument as u sed only u wud remember.
i would however love it if noone felt the ravages of time as they aged and we died with our body at the state of oh say i dunno 20ish.

    Immortality.

I would take it if I could relieve myself of it at will. Though if I could do that and die then it wouldn't actually be immortality...

Immortality doesn't secure pain-free. You could suffer your whole life until the end, but not die. What kind of a life is that?

I never thought about that but you're totally right. I feel like life is the way it's meant to be and that everything's meant to be.

I would never choose to be immortal. This world is too much for one life time, multiple life times would be the hell religious people talk about. An eternity of suffering.

Do you see your life as suffering? I sure don't look at my life that way.

I would take it, I think life would have some meaning then. I mean if I'm gonna die in 80 years give or take whats even the point?
I doubt I'd ever get tired of it, there's an unlimited amount of things in the universe to learn, and you need an unlimited amount of life to learn them all. =]
