69.5m scammed

Someone offered to xfer cash for me, long story short an account with 70m now has 1/2 a mill. They ended up buying a ton of crap and taking it to the party room. I was wondering if Jagex could help me out at all or are they just gunna leave me high and dry?

 

Sorry jagex won't do shit.

I know how it feels.. got hacked for 100m+ and still cant recover, Also lost a shit load in pvp lol.

 

Thats sucks.. Its actually the only main I have right now.. It's gunna take so long to get it all back =[

 

unlucky, Jagex wont do jack shit... and u have to fully prove that u were scammed NOT rwting and all

 

even if u prove u were scammed they are not going to refund you your mils
they say something about it being unreasonable etc etc etc

 

Leave you high and dry for trying to xfer.

 

This is exactly why WoW is a fuckload better than Runescape

If you get hacked and they drop your shit or whatever, you can contact a GameMaster and they will sort it out :laugh:

thats sucks but in wow you have to pay monthly like $15 right so do you still think wow is better?

 

I'm in London so it costs me £9. £9 is nothing to pay per month

He was never saying wow was better, just in that perspective. Yeah well are you kidding did you not even hear about that guy who lost like 300m while logging out during the tut video for mobilising armies? He didn't get his money back and that was due to jagex fucking it up.

So yeah if they don't refund someone for something that is their own fault they aren't going to help someone who was trying to transfer haha.

 

Lol unlucky man, but seriously, if you go to jagex, and say you were scammed trying to exfer money between accounts, not only will they laugh at the fact you wan't a refund, they'l probably ban you :embar:

Lesson learned; Don't trust people unless you are 100% sure they'r legit.

Jagex could give a fuck less about your money. I remember one time this guy had blue phat and was cutting magic logs south of seers.. he was afk and a tree attacked him and he died.. someone else got the phat.. I was 1 click away from getting it. When he logged back on he said "oh well" and continued too cut logs. Just gotta take what life hands to you man, at least is only a game.

 

Unfortunately Jagex doesnt cope well with Real World Trading isntances. This is one of many reasons they are trying to get rid of it, but destroying the game as they do it. Anywho, Jagex will never replace lost or stolen or hacked items for any reason in the world or any bribe in the world. This is because if they offered this sort of service much confusion, frustration and stress would be venting to both Jagex and the players.
