Need some help with virus please

So I just bought this 219$ laptop from walmart it came in the box unused and I opened it up and did a virus scan and got this "HackTool:Win32/Mimikatz!commands" I can't remove it, I need some help I'm an idiot. Thanks, I have Windows 10. This lap top is brand new straight out the box.

 

Boot your PC in safe mode, delete all temp files as that is where malware normally is hidden.
Check disk cleanup (remove everything).

If all else fails, wipe the whole PC or go back to Walmart and ask for a replacement.

Mimikatz is what we call a 'false positive result' however, so you should ignore it - look at the event viewer app in Windows and the results will show, you can use Windows defender also.

 

i would return it, or bring it to walmart's attention. however, download HiJack This, and some other malware tools. Boot into safe mode, and run them.

I'd personally recommend downloading Malwarebytes. It is by far the best antivirus, it also comes with a free trial at the start so this will fix the issue for free!
