They can call there bank to reverse it I think. Debit cards not sure of. Paypal balance is funded by the credit card if they verifyed there paypal with a CC.

    paypal question

Yes you're safe from chargebacks if the account is funded bia bank account, since a chargeback is when someone basically steals your credit card number and makes a purchase with it, so you're forced to call your credit card company to tell them about this and cancel the transaction; therefore regaining funds. However, you can't steal a bank account, at least not through Paypal because Paypal requires you to verify the amounts they deposited into your bank account in order to verify your Paypal account and use bank funding.

    paypal question

The only way to tell is if you ask them. You can only hope for a safe buyer. I think debit cards are safe because you really can'y call visa and ask them to charge back or something.

    paypal question

I'll tell you from experience, gift payments, payment owed payments, and even C&C payments can be reversed. Just the other day I had someone send as payment owed (you can't claim these payments from the resolution center), however the payment was still reversed as he filed an unauthorized claim and had paypal investigate saying his paypal had been compromised.

    paypal question

He was probably using a C and C to verify his paypal. He probably called his company and had them charge it back through paypal.

    paypal question

He Used a stolen paypal to purchase your item(s).

The Only way you wont get charged back is if they have it bank balanced or Norm Balance. Make sure there paypal isnt stolen, by checking the email. Ask Them Questions, Make them wrote a Note including he wont chargeback, etc.

    paypal question

Not necessarily, when he files an unauthorized claim paypal wants you to show proof of shipping/proof of refund/going to refund, and since most people are dealing with virtual items you can't show proof of shipping and thus paypal will just come to the conclusion that his paypal actually had been compromised and reverse the payment.
